Best sealer

I do repaint interiors and this is a must to use as a primer over old paint.

This stuff is awesome

We had a loser drywall guy use spoiled mud when he re textured our ceilings. He said the smell would go away in a week or two. IT DID NOT! Our house smelled like vomit for over a month and we tried everything short of ripping out the ceilings. In the meantime we were living in chaos. We found this and it worked perfectly! Excellent for cabinets

I used this on my kitchen cabinets with a Titan sprayer. One coat wonder. I quickly and lightly sanded by hand the cabinets after priming. I used 220 grit with light pressure. 2 coats of paint and cabinets look awesome! Don't forget to degrease your cabinets first. Degrease, prime, very light sanding and 2 coats of paint. I've tried other primers, but this is the best in my opinion.

The pictures I uploaded say more than my review ever could. If you’ve got an area you need to cover up this product will do wonders.

Covers tile with ease

I updated an old bathroom that was built in the late 50s and was tile from the floor halfway up the wall. Ugly tile. Put two coats of this primer and then a coat of Benjamin Moore semi gloss paint. Looks like new tile. It is very easy to use.

Best Primer

Simply the best primer for any surface. I've completely forgotten any other product. Its a little pricey but the end results are more than worth it.

Good coverage

Works as expected. Nothing bleeds thru. Difficult to clean spray gear.

Covered maple cabinets

I primered maple stained cabinets with this and it's great. Wish I had a sprayer and a booth it would have made the process faster. One coat of this gave a primer look, slaped on a second coat and it was solid enough to be paint. I like that the dry time between coats is 45 min. Made everything go a lot faster.

Excellent product

I bought this primer to use in a home that previously had a heavy smoker living in it. Not only does it completely cover the stained walls and ceilings, but it also sealed out the odor. I’m very pleased

Odor elimination

Used to eliminate cat urine odor on sub floor under carpet. One coat solved the problem. Dried in n hour with no residual paint smell.

It REALLY Works!

After our baby boy was born, our cat was diagnosed with extreme anxiety and started marking all over our carpets throughout the house. We tried all of the typical remedies - multiple carpet cleanings, shampooing, steaming, etc with no luck. We decided to spend the money to rip out all carpets and put new flooring throughout the entire house. After pulling up the carpet & padding we realized the subfloors were soaked through which is why we could never get rid of the smell. It took 3 coats of BIN...

Top tier primer for tough challenges

BIN is a high-tech variant of a shellac (alcohol-based) primer, with a heavy dose of white solids for good hiding properties. It has excellent adhesion to old oil-based paints, enabling trouble-free coverage with water based and water-born (e.g., water born alkyd) paints. Highly recommended. Only drawback is need for denatured alcohol to clean up. I use chip brushes and simply throw them out when done. That largely eliminates the cleanup requirement.

Works great!

Bought this because I had bleed through on a piece of furniture that refused to go away. 2 coats later and it is sealed and ready to paint. Only negative is the strong alcohol smell but it is to be expected.

Was so hoping for a miracle

Trying to eradicate cat pee smell in house. After reading online about possible solutions, other people raced about the shellac based BIN. After 5 liberally applied coats over a course of 1 year, we can still smell the odor. So disappointed.

Used over a heavily nicotine stained bedroom and bathroom (walls and ceiling), and it covered well and sealed the smell. Took a little getting used to as it is thin, but with the correct nap size roller it wasn't bad at all. I did wear a respirator due to fumes. I plan on using it again in another bedroom and upstairs hall

Use this instead of Kilz. Recoat after 45 Minutes if necessary. Use a respirator.
