What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally well-received, with users praising its power, lightweight design, and ease of use. It effectively cuts through grass and weeds, and the battery-powered operation is convenient. Many find it comfortable to handle, especially for older users. However, some issues have been reported, such as problems with the auto-feed mechanism, durability of components, and shorter-than-expected battery life for larger yards. The product may also struggle with thicker, more overgrown vegetation. Overall, it appears to be a capable and user-friendly tool for most residential lawn and garden needs.

Would RecommendI have a WG184 and wanted a trimmer with 2 feed lines. The WG183 is lightweight and cutting speed is much faster than the WG184. This trimmer is more useful on my residential 1/4 acre lot. The only issue is, like others have mentioned, the line spool that came with it was not wound correctly and the auto feed didnt work. I had to unwind it, cut off the section that melted from heat and rewind it. No big deal. It's also shorter than the WG184, so I have to bend over to cut some areas. I'm 5 ft 11...

Auto feeder not working / spool cap flies off
Would Not RecommendI purchased this unit to replace a very old worx 18v weed trimer I have had for years, well let's list the problems in order 1.st - shaft is not adjustable so you are stuck with the overall length and handle placement. 2nd - the auto feed button is a joke, it feeds when it want's to or just doesn't feed at all. 3rd - the unit is back end heavy so you are constantly fighting to keep the trimmer head down and cutting. 4th - the detachable wheels are re-designed and they sit taller than the old un...

This thing is a Beast!
Would RecommendNot a big fan of anything electric over gas, but this thing makes a case for a change of mind. Super light weight and very powerful. Self feeds. Easy to assemble. Charges fast. I'd say just short of a 25cc gas model in comparison. Can easily tackle anything in a common yard. Great investment. Love this machine more than I could have expected.

Regret Buying
Would Not RecommendThe automatic spool feeding doesn’t work and the spool’s have not been available since last year or longer. Waste of money.

Keeps braking the string in little pieces
Would Not RecommendDoes anyone knows the reason why this trimmer suddenly after a year started cutting the line in little pieces every time I turn it off then on. I used 2 reels and it only worked once I turned it on, the next time started making a huge noise and the line unreeled so much that I had to open the compartment and reeled it in. Then it just keep cutting until there is no more line. I inspected and see nothing off but the automatic line button never worked. Can someone helped. I cannot keep buying trim...

Great Improvement from My Previous 18V Trimmer
Would RecommendQuite a difference from my 18V trimmer I had been using. The power of having two 20V batteries on board the trimmer seemed to make trimming and edging effortless. Highly recommend!

Plastic parts break easily.
Would Not Recommend20V trimmer broke almost right away. This model the 40V lasted a little longer. But still broke at lock release / trigger. I doubt I'll purchase any/of their yard tools again. The WORX combo drill screwdriver and sawzall / jigsaw are both 5🌟 + tools.

Works great
Would RecommendThis worx out performs my gas trimmer. It's lighter, quieter, surprisingly powerful. The only con is its one speed, wide open.

Very powerful weedwhip
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the 20V model and this 40V unit takes down the larger diameter weeds here in southern FL. I only wish it had the adjustable articulating head of the 20 V model

Kicks butt
Would RecommendThis particular weed trimmer does an excellent job worx makes a very good product.... This is my second weed trimmer from worx, the first one lasted 5 years and I've used it pretty bad and it really took the abuse, I was pretty impressed with it so I bought another one. Not disappointed.

Love it. Quiet and easy to use
Would RecommendThis works just as good as my old 2 cycle trimmer but quiet, light weight, and no gas.

WG184 Trimmer
Would RecommendThis is definitely for light duty smaller yards. The 2 amp hour batteries don't last long enough to do my 4500 sq. ft. yard even without a sidewalk. I also did not notice it only has one line feed hole. Edger works good, but with only a single feed you have to feed more line every 8 feet or so. And since it feeds line on every start up, you have to keep it running when going from one area to another to avoid using up a bunch of line. This also uses more battery. Overall not a bad product for hom...
