Would Not RecommendThis is the second one of these I have purchased. The last one lasted less than a year. The only reason I bought another one is I have multiple batteries, a charger, and it's light enough that my 83 y/o friend can operate it when she wants. Needless to say I purchased the aftermarket warranty this time.

A design flaw exist
I bought this before. In my opinion, it is too easy to break. I don’t use this device very often, definitely less than 20 hours a year, but it still broke in less than two years. I think the reason is in a design flaw —— the protection plastic is too fragile. After that piece of plastic breaks, the grass and weeds easily wrap around the core engine, forcing me to frequently stop the work and unwrap the weeds, using small scissors. Not good if you want to get busy in your yard!
Would Not RecommendA charger won’t stay charged and it has the smallest reel of line you could possibly have so you are constantly charging after 15 minutes even if the battery is charged all night and you are having to replace the line
