Ratings & Reviews for WORX 15-in Telescopic Shaft Corded Electric String Trimmer Edger Conversion Capable

total junk

I bought this and it is junk. The first time I used it the edging guard was launched across the yard by the string. It is a good thing it is easy to access the string because it breaks too often. There is no reason for it to have a string advance because you will have to re-thread almost every time.

Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a short senior female....light, easy to use

Purchased online May 2017 and received 3 June 2017: trimmer stopped working after one (1) hour of use.

Was impressed on how lightweight the unit is & how well it trimmed every area I had to do..Sliced through a thick row of monkey grass with ease & took care of thick weeds as well.Super bargain for the price,SO GO OUT & GET YOU ONE TODAY!!..Well constructed & designed. .

lightwieght

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love the warranty and perfect for my small yard

Almost a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pro: Very effective when it works. Con: typically only works about 15 seconds before you have to remove the cartridge and reset the string. It appears to be due to how the string is wound (overlaps, and stuck together, etc.), but I've tried more multiple reels with the same result. Very frustrating.

Have one proplem is brush contact on rotor melted

Need up grade brush contact on rotor , it easy to burn this is hot section

Nice and economically.

Just bought this with amazing price and work good for my lawn.

Pretty Impressive for the Price

I've had gas units that were a pain to maintain, so I finally switched to electric a few years back. When my old unit died, I replaced it with this Worx unit. More powerful, larger cutting head, works great! Very impressive for the price.

Looks fine., I will give a true workout in the spring.

Another great tool from Worx

Don't mind the size, this thing is powerful. The electric motor zooms across the grass and weeds with ease and doesn't miss a beat. Its lightweight and well built, the only thing that could use some improvement is the plastic guard mount which seems a bit flimsy.

Poor Edger

This was a warranty replacement for the WG118 trimmer/edger I had. The WG118 put out excessive line due to a worn plastic part. The replacement model sent, WG119, is not a direct replacement for the edger I had. The shaft does not rotate and the wheel is not included. The WG119 is not a good edger. I used my WG118 as an edger about 95% of the time. The real problem was that I had to write the CEO to get warranty support. The unit was 2 years old, with a 3 year warranty. But, they den...

works great for what I need it for

I brought it about a month ago. I wanted totrmand edge my lawn, and I was every suprise how well it worked.

Trimmer/Edger

I bought this and tried it and love it. I have a neighbor do my yard work for me and they like it a lot and I tried it to. Really cool and love all the features it has. And it is very light. Thank you. Shelly

great trimmer!

I got it sometime back, and I didn't have a chance to use it until today, actually I used it to cut my front and one large side piece of lawn ( not a big lawn though). It worked perfectly, with one little hiccup, be aware of the release string button at the bottom of the trimmer, it kind of releases string by itself. Other than that It worked excellent, great power, good string reach, and very easy to use with both handles. This is my first time using WORX, and it is great so far.

Fits the bill!!

Just the right size for our use..easy to use, comparable weight to gas trimmer but no hassle with gas/oil premix issues and ALWAYS starts!!Was most impressed with the POWER!!!

Great purchase

I was in the market for a grass or your trailer when I got this I know I really came in on a great deal plus a very good product that worked well I'm very satisfied with my purchase and for the cost of what I got it for
