Ratings & Reviews for WORX 15-in Telescopic Shaft Corded Electric String Trimmer Edger Conversion Capable

very nice for an elder person

Pros and Cons

My old electric (plug in) finally gave up, so I appreciated the power of getting this one and double string. The downside for me was this has thinner string than I'm accustomed, and I don't appreciate that there's no "safety" mechanism for the trigger pull. Years ago, an older model was similar and pulling it up behind me as I was dragging it across the yard I accidently pulled the trigger and nailed the back of my calf. No bueno!

My new weedeater.

Nice, but complicated.

Question about Knob for Handle

Trimmer works great, is there a way to get a replacement knob for the handle? or please tell me what thread is used for the knob

Great price

Works great..very happy

Weak edger

I bought this because I wanted something that could edge without having to line it up using the wheel(s) that come with most edgers today. This device kinda works. The guide isn't adjustable, and it's incredibly long. Also, the string didn't automatically feed. This is going back.

You get what you pay for

Easily the worst weed eater I’ve ever used. From day one it has been a pain. The string doesn’t last, the weed eater is weak, and I’m constantly having to restring. It’s more pain than it’s worth. Do not buy.

Worx really works!

Having a corded string trimmer is my preference. My last Worx trimmer was an excellent tool until I couldn't get replacement batteries. It still worked fine but it wouldn't take the upgraded batteries.

Customer service fail at both Lowes and FedEx

Would love to use the trimmer. Can't use it because FedEx did not follow delivery instructions and left the package in an inaccessible place. I have a disability and left clear delivery instructions. They did not follow instructions, aren't answering the phone. Lowe's says it's not their responsibility even though the instructions are on my account with them, on my account with FedEx, printed on the address label, and on an 11x17" sign on the door. None of it was followed. Was there any way to ...

Decent item for the price

I chose this unit because it is light in weight and corded, thus not having to worry about a dead battery over the winter months.

It's Not What You Think It Is

The WORX 15-in Telescopic Shaft Corded Electric String Trimmer is not powerful enough for a simple task. I'm 70 years old and this is the weakest Trimmer I have ever used. The line is used up very quickly. Within 10 ft. it had eaten up quite a bit of line. LOWE'S won't accept a return because they say I have used it. The problem is, how do you know if it works if you don't use it. I would not suggest buying this if you want to get the job done ! ! ! !

Easy of assembly

No batteries to recharge

Good for the price

Easy to use

Effective!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to review. It was easy to use and had some power to it. My husband loves how slim it is to store. It did its job and left no room for complaints.

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not the most top of the line, but it gets the job done. Not saying it's low quality at all, great mid line item. We have a small yard so the electric version was just fine. Nice not dealing with gas.
