I bought this a few weeks ago and I do not like it. The handle is to short and the string is to small.

5.5 amp electric

Would Not Recommend

Just like the other reviews, the string has a mind of its own, it will feed no matter what you do. The line gets stuck close to the motor which burns it out, I see I'm not the only one that has complained about this, are you working on ways to prevent this from happening.? Have to keep a close eye on this product because of the line. Help us out people we bought the equipment because you said it was a fine product you would have to be out there all day just to edge, not time saving. Help....

Nice price - but you get what you pay for.

Would Not Recommend

Purchased the WG119 because the price was reasonable compared to other brands. Unit has enough power to cut down the most stubborn weeds. Easy to assemble out of the box and like the adjustable handle and trimming head. However, the auto feed doesn't work very well. Had to keep using the manual feed which gets old fast when trimming a large yard. The handle needs to be longer, have to bend over a little so after 30 min's of trimming your lower back starts to feel it. Over all it is fair. The onl...

Auto string feed automatically does not work.

Would Not Recommend

Purchased the WG119 this afternoon from Walmart. Almost immediately I found myself having to pop the end cap off to feed one of the strings back through the respective whole. It would work for a few seconds and then get snarled again. Often I would have to take the whole spool out, reinsert the spool with about 6" inches hanging out evenly on both sides, and after a short while the strings would be messed up again in one way or another. Finally I sat down and rewound the spool with two different...

Great value. Well designed

Would Recommend

I am so happy with mine! I wanted electric and the price was spot on. It's light weight & easy to use. It's simple to adjust on demand with no tools. The string seems to last longer than I expected too. If they has asked me during the design phase I would asked it to have a longer handle, but I would say the same thing for every shovel, rake, broom, mop, and vacuum that I have ever used.

Dangerous

Would Not Recommend

Cannot believe you have to turn it upside down and push a button on the spool to advance the line. If you forget to unplug, you could accidentally hit the trigger and cause damage to your hand. Plus, this has to be done numerous times, as the string continuously breaks as it is too thin. would NOT recommend!

Feed line

Would Not Recommend

I bought this in May and was happy with it, until I had to replace the line. The line will not stay in the holder and falls out easily. The line melts together inside the spool. Within one hour I fixed the line 3 times and finally gave up.

Has problems.

Would Not Recommend

I bought this item in late May 2015 and I keep having problems with the string feed. Most of the time it either will not feed the string or the string retract into the head and I have to stop and take the cover off and rethread and manually advance the string to get the job done constantly which makes for a very long and tiring job. Also I can not download a copy of the owner's manual for The WG119 from your web site. It keeps saying the site does not either exist or has moved. Can you help me w...

great for back surgery patients but downfall is no

Would Recommend

downfall is no available placement spools. I have had back surgery twice and this is lightweight but I still have to stop often especially if it is really hot out due to other health problems. I guess I am going to have to figure out how to buy the correct replacement string and restring it myself as I cannot find a replacement spool anywhere. What is up with that one? It is wwhat it is and it's inexpensive

very reliable

Would Recommend

It works very well. I use this item much compared to a gas weed Wacker. It has a long battery life as well. I use it on two lawns and don't have to charge the battery. (Both lawns about half an acre)

This trimmer worked great for a while, I thought that the auto line feed was good. After a day that feature was gone. And I bought it for that feature. Will not buy another Worx product.
