Above average pocket knife sharpener

The knife sharpener that I normally use is the old fashion wet stone type. I was looking for something to replenish the fine edge on my pocket knife and could be carried in your pocket or tool bag/box. I used this on several knives, both old, new, expensive, and economical (cheap). It did a very good job on all of my older knives both premium and economical. This is a great product for anyone, small handheld Knife sharpener that is ready to sharper or touchup any knife blade. After getting 1, I bought 2 more for my work vans. When you use a knife many times a day this is ready to get it done. Remember a dull knife is not as safe as a sharp knife, be safe and keep you blade on point. Work Sharp Products as well made.

Pretty Cool Knife Sharpener

Great knife sharpener! Used it to sharpen our Cutco knife set after the sharpener they came with is no longer effective (20+ years). Worked great. The scirated sharpened even performed as advertised.

Put some life into your old dull knives

This knife sharpener is really nice. It is simple to use an is small for easy storage. As soon as I got it, I quickly sharpened about six knives. As a test, I cut through the edge of a sheet of paper. All of the non-serrated blades did it easily. I used the retractable "file" to sharpen a serrated blade. As expected, that is a slower process. I later used one of the knives to cut up a watermelon. What a difference!!! I would recommend this product.

Great, Compact Sharpener

I had been looking for a good sharpener to keep with my toolbag that I could primarily use to keep my Leatherman blades sharp. Well, I had to look no further after finding this little guy. This thing packs quite a punch, and is very versatile. This is a must have for your toolbox!

Work Sharper with this

This little tool is a little over 3 inches and easily fits in your pocket. It doesn't take much room in your tool bag. Sharpen your multitool or pocket knife on the fly. It has 2 different sharpeners and a small side file.

Works pretty well for my old kitchen knives

Works pretty well for my old kitchen knives. I have an old set of kitchenaid knives, it did a good job getting them sharp. Like the pivot response setting, where you can have it take off more material if needed.

Nice sharpener! Tried it on several knives and it seemed to make them sharper. If the knife is too dull I don’t think this could save it. All in all a nice addition to the kitchen gadget drawer.

Perfect tool for the garden

The Work Sharp sharpener is the perfect size to carry in my garden tool box. I use it to sharpen my gardening shears, hori hori knife, and scissors. A compact device that does 3 sharpening stages - ceramic, diamond, and carbide.

I really like this little sharpener. It is easily carried around if you need to and it does thr job really well. It is compact and can be carried around with ease.

Amazing compact knife sharpener

This Pivot Plus Knife Sharpener is an amazing product. It is very light, compact and easy to use. It can be used for so many knives for hunting, pocket, serrated, filet and gardening tools. When sharpening a knife you can slide the red button outward to unlock the pivot response lock and use the tapered diamond rod for hand tools. This sharpener is such a great addition to your home, I highly recommend it.

Description promised, sharpener did not deliver

This knife sharpener promised to be very useful in sharpening my kitchen knives, my serrated knives and my pocket knife. There was a promise but it did not live up to its promises. After the normal struggle to get it out of its packaging it was time to read the instructions. Great tool !!!

This is a really great tool, very compact. The size makes it easy to keep in car, home or camper. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow as well. I really needed a knife sharpener for serrated knives so glad it was included.

Work Sharp Pivot Plus knife sharpener

This review is for the Work Sharp pivot plus, Knife sharpener. I have tried other products similar to this one, but never had one work as good as this. Just a few strokes of the blade through the sharpener, and it is sharper than new. It really works great and is easy to use.

Easy to use and it sharpens the dullest knife

Wow this little knife sharpener really works good. Used it to sharpen a dull paring knife. It made a big difference and sliced through an orange like going through butter. Especially nice is the honing rod, used it to sharpen my serrated knife. Small tool but big results. Highly recommend it

Works great to sharpen almost all household items

Knife, Tool sharpener. Has three ways to sharpen tools or knives. I sharpened all my kitchen knives and a few garden tools. Even sharpened the family scissors. Great tool to have.

Temporary knife sharpener

The packaging and instructions are amazing. The downside is there is not a lot of room to hold device if you have a normal size hand. The carbide sharpening stone also seems to wear out quickly. I sharpened one kitchen knife and the carbide sharpening stone was almost flush with the plastic. There is no way to adjust or change out stone. It sharpened a dull kitchen knife with around 25 strokes.

My Go To Sharpener!!

OMG! I love this sharpener!! Great quality, very easy to use, and does the job of bigger and bulkier sharpeners. I am a woodworker and use (sometimes abuse) my pocket knife. This sharpener is kept in a drawer on a table by my recliner and at the end of the day I can put a new edge on my knife.

Clever Little Personal Sharpener

This is my personal review of the use and utility of the Pivot Plus Knife Sharpener. Though billed as a sharpener for every knife you own, I personally think it best used for pocket and paring type knives. I did use it on larger knives, scissors and garden pruning shears but the effort involved seems hardly worth the effort given that many of us have grinding wheels and other methods of sharpening larger tools. I must admit that I am not good at sharpening anything using these v-shaped carbide...
