This washer takes to long to wash and a lot of times doesn't fill up like it should and I have to keep opening and closing the lid to make it fill

Purchased 3/22 and I have always had whirlpool cloths washers in the past (probably about 7 or 8), mom swore by them. I brought this one because of the water sensing feature, worst mistake, I have to save up for something different that works. Horrible

I bought Dishwasher in December 2023. I’ve tried to make it work so many times but it really doesn’t get my clothes clean. I don’t have another option to return it or even exchange it. I do not recommend dishwasher.

Not happy with Quality

BOUNCES LIKE A RODEO BULL

The machine bounces around during spin cycle. Damaging other things in the laundry area, and making noise my neighbors hate. Pressing the start button to unlock the lid doesn't always work, so I can't get in and rearrange the wet clothes for better balance. The clothes are still soaked when it finally shuts off, so the dryer haws to run longer.

You have to babysit this washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer cleans the clothing well when you can get through a cycle. Unfortunately, you have to babysit the washer. No matter how well you distribute the load beforehand, the spin cycle is always (as in ALWAYS, EVERY CYCLE) is unbalanced, causing loud banging. We have to run to stop the machine, every time, so that the drum or balance mechanism isn't damaged. Can't wait to be able to replace this washer.

Worst purchase ever!

After 4 years, and a fractured marriage, it’s finally going to the scrap yard where it belongs! The Whirlpool WTW5000DW3 washer absolutely makes the world a better place with it being discontinued. It took forever to complete a cycle, cleaning was subpar, and it spent more time than it did washing. I’m lucky that my wife doesn’t hate me as a result of buying this thing.

Worst EVER!!

Whirlpool really sucked with the production of this unit!! Since first ownership the unit did not add enough water to wash clothes properly. Would not even get them entirely wet through the cycles. The hub drive for the drum has plastic teeth so it stripes out easily. It does not matter the load size but that it drives the impeller back & forth and wears out quickly. As that isn't bad even worse is the drive from the transmission to the hub has teeth to drive the drum and the drive is made ...

Problem from the start is not resolved.

There is a buzzer that sounds at the end of the cycle. It comes on and won’t shut off until the washer is unplugged. Loud and quite annoying. How can this be repaired?

Worst washing machine in my life and I’m 65!

HORRIBLE washer! Almost always have to stop to rebalance clothes for spinning. Everything comes out all tangled up. I’d give anything to have my old washer with the agitator back. Thought this would be easier on my clothes but the opposite is true. Plus it takes FOREVER to run a cycle on “normal”. Do NOT buy this washing machine!!

Very disappointed!!!!!!

For the price and brand I thought it would have lasted longer than 3 years. Only 2 people use this washer, so there is not a lot of wear and tear.

My wife does not like it, my wife does not think that the close are not clean because the machine used to little water.

Terrible Washer

This washing machine is about 3 years old and it has not been able to handle blankets are bed sheets. Shakes bad, loads come out wet and have to then be run through drain/spin cycle. It now has completely stopped spinning clothes dry even on drain/spin cycle. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

Already Broken

Wished I would have taken the time to read the reviews before I purchased but this model had a very high star rating so I thought it would be decent. It’s been 3 years since I purchased and for the last 6 months, I smelled a burning rubber each time I washed a load big or small. I had my appliance man check it out and he couldn’t find the problem. I have this machine for a little over 2 years and today I found out it needs a whole control panel to the cost of $485!!! shouldn't that last more than 2 years??? regular wear on the machine

Could be better

We have had this for 4 yrs now. Wish we had bought a model with an agitator. Can’t over fill this one, can’t be too dirty. Regret buying this model.
