Ice maker not working ( again)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the drawer and bottom freezer, The ice machine takes up so much room in the refrigerator and twice it has stopped Working on us. First time they gave us a whole new fridge because they said it was the motherboard and now a few months later our icemaker is not working again all that wasted space for something that doesn’t work definitely disappointed. I thought whirlpool was a better brand to be having so many issues.

I am 80 years old so I love my new fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new fridge. But I wish the ice maker did not take up so much space inside. LG has a way of making more room inside. Maybe you should take a look at that. But I love my fridge.

ease of use

I had the same refrigerator for 11 years; it didn't last as long as I thought it should, but the new one is a good fit and again, I like the style. The short life of the first one is the only reason for only 4 stars. So far, this one could be a 5

Middle drawer is a winner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the refrigerator for about a month. I really like the middle drawer. So handy to store most used foods without opening the whole refrigerator doors. I don’t much care the door shelves. Only one shelf can be used to store milk and other taller items. Not very much space between other shelves on the doors.

Nice looking unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the external design of the unit. You do lose some internal space up top with the middle drawer but all the shelves inside are adjustable so it has been mitigated. Not bad but the side shelving is reduced from our old unit that was same cu ft but only two compartments. Have not had long enough to get used to it. I would maybe have given a 5 but the ice maker is very loud during some part of its cycle.

Shelve spacing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part I am happy with my purchase The one thing I do not like is the on the door where milk can be stored the shelves could be spaced so that standard dressing bottle would fit when all three shelves are in place. Also freezer compartment no longer has from storage for pizzas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new refrigerator is great with one exception. The big shelf right above the two drawers has no back on it, and a 3" open slot at the back. If you push a small bottle towards the back of that shelf, if falls in that open slot. You have to take the drawer out of the refrigerator, and reach way back to recover the bottle. This is a bad design problem. Could your technical department tell me how to fix this problem?

I had two problems in less than a year.

My son bought me this refrigerator for Christmas. I can’t really beg him to buy the insurance, but I sure surely wish she had. From the beginning the doors did not shut right and it does have a beeper light that goes off if the door is left open and that doesn’t work either all right we did bring someone in and they said there was nothing that could be done. That was a way it was made. I just have to push a little harder which I try to do, but you know sometimes it’s left open. Fortunately, the ...

Door trays too small now.

This would be a 5 star rating BUT: We just got our new frig which we thought was just like the one we had to leave with the home we just sold. You have changed a few things that make it less usable to us. Mainly the size of the door trays are way smaller now!!!???? With the old one we could get a tea pitcher, 1/2 gal of milk & some water bottles in the same tray. NOW......

Non-functioning ice maker

I just placed my 3rd service request with Whirlpool in hopes of something good happening-but I'm not holding my breath since the ice maker was replaced during first service visit. How many times do I have to request service before the fridge can be replaced??

FRUSTRATING

Spacious!!

Awaiting final review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased January 2026 and happy with the majority of the product. One issue is the water dispenser in the door drips and does not stop. Waiting for the gasket to expand and stop the drip. If does not self resolve will call Whirlpool for maintenance to correct.

Nice refrigerator
