Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen5000DFcv Recoil Start 5000 Starting / 3901 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Westinghouse inverter generator dual fuel 5000

I bought this 3 weeks ago and just trying everything out, the gas, the propane seems to be working great and it’s just as quiet as my Honda

It’s quiet

Don’t like that it doesn’t have a shut off valve for the gas.

Just Purchased

Looks great out of the box, took my time to read the Manual so I feel good about starting it up for the first time. The screw in funnel is a nice feature for adding oil without a mess. I had 2 Yamaha generators that I sold to pick this up mainly because the of the dual fuel capability for camping and I love the electric start! Also really like the telescope handle to move it around with ease.

Nice and quiet generator

This is a nice generator for its size. I bought it because Westinghouse built the gear reduction for the Battleship USS New Jersey. That ship still floats so it must be a good brand.

Great buy!

Purchase this for both travel and weathering the storms. So far only used it for travel and really like having the option to use propane or gas. A lot quieter than our old generator.

Nice and quiet

Working well with my camper I love how quiet it is. The set up is simple. Make sure to do your break period.

Nice

Was all that I expected from Westinghouse. Lighter than I expected

New owner

I am very happy with my purchase. My family now has peace of mind. If our electricity goes out, we will never be left in the dark, and we will never have to throw food away again due to the loss of power.

iGen5000DFc

Just purchased and tested in the backyard. Very quiet for the output the unit gives. Very light and easy to read control panel.

Quality

I’ve only had this thing one month but I have had no problems at all with it. Happy so far

Awesome inverter generator!

This is the second iGen I have bought, gave the first one (4500) to our son. Have had to use it numerous times during the year and expect to use it more as our power seems to be coming less reliable. I typically run it on propane but having the gasoline option is very convinent! Great machine, totally recommend it!

Great inverter awesome purchase

I’m very happy with my purchase can wait for camping

I love the duel fuel and remote start

This thing fired right up out of the box. I love that it came with all the needed accessories for running on propane. The remote start is also a really nice feature

Inverter generator

This is a great inverter generator! It is very quite and powerful enough to run my whole RV.

Nice Unit

I just received the unit and gave it a brief test run. Seems easy to use.

Great Little Backup Power

I ordered it and it was shipped in 2 days turnaround, I'm very excited to have purchased this dual fuel because my 10K is gas powered in the event we need to relocate we can load this unit and some propane and oil, and we're set you can get any better. We looked at others but this one won hands down and the pullout handle was the icing to moving the unit around without it hitting your heels, the remote and service tools was a bonus I just put the supplied oil in connected the propane line opene...

Oven 5000dfvc

Just had to add oil and start. It has more power than my champion generator but weighs less and is quieter

Great Generator

We bought this to run our camper that uses 120va/30a. It runs the whole thing effortlessly including the AC during a very HOT trip to Florida. We have only used propane and it ran for 12+ hours on a single tank with the AC running. I did register the unit and is said it would send me a free cover but they never did. I don't know why?

Great accessories

I bought the go camping and it’s a great generator

Good purchase

We bought this a month ago and, while we haven’t gotten a chance to use it yet, it is a great size and we’re excited about all the features it has
