Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen5000c Remote Electric Start 5000 Starting / 3900 Running Watt Gasoline Single Fuel Inverter Generator

Excellent features for the price.

Easy setup, easy starting, smooth operation and very informative front panel display. Quieter than my brothers Honda EU2000i.

Haven't used it yet

broke in just fine, looks as though it might fit my needs

Super Quiet

Both the 5000c and smaller 2800 are both good generators.

So far so good

Purchased to upgrade over my older generator, was advertised as 62db but it actually runs around 85-90 still fairly quiet

Quiet

I bought this generator after borrowing my neighbors. I loved how quiet it was and also the electric start. I would recommend this product.

Awesome inverter

Bought it month ago. I love the futures. Just don’t leave the gas/primer on when not in use.

Started right up

Just started it a couple times like what I see. Quiet Haven't really used yet

Love electric start

Ordered this after a wind storm took out our power. Shortly after getting it we had an ice storm that left us without power 4 days/3nights. Being able to start the generator from inside was great. I ordered two more for family members one of which is still without power on day 8.

Compact, high power, quiet generator.

I reviewed several different. Generator models and realized this was the best value because of it light weight, high output and generally speaking low noise level.

Very quiet!!

Just got our unit super excited to see how she works for us.

IGen

Just bought looks great can't wait till camping season

Great

As expected. Generator works great upon initial use.

Just what I had expected.

Needed a lighter weight, quiet, 30amp inverter. This seems to fit my needs well.

Great unit

Excellent unit great for camping and surprisingly, not too heavy considering the size and power Super quiet and fuel efficient they are not lying when it says almost 18 hours on a full tank of gas

Animal Friendly

The use of this generator was so quiet, that the deer still approached our campsite and continued to eat grass around us. Very pleased

Better than expected

I bought this with some expectations but this far exceeds them. The remote starts great and it's way quieter than expected. Runs my rv flawless and does everything it should and more.

Easy setup

just bought - setup was easy and straight forward.

great features

I bought this about a month ago works great this is my first generator really like the remote start it has worked great for me

Runs quiet and starts easily

We bought this generator as a 3rd power source option for our travel trailer. It runs very quietly and even under load is not as loud as other generators. We love the remote start and the capability to be wired in to auto-engage if our battery system is running too low. It is also capable of charging our tow vehicle if we are in a pinch for power.

Excellent power and great features

Fired right up after a couple pulls and has plenty of power for my needs and surprisingly quiet
