The EcoGen 10,000 is easy to use and easy to move!

After unpacking the Inverter generator it was easy to maneuver and started on the first try. The instrument panel is easy to understand. I was pleased with its size, weight and how low the engine noise is compared with other generators.

This inverter was very easy to setup. It was up and running quickly. It started on the first touch of a button. The noise level was amazingly low for such a powerful inverter. I powered it with propane. It is a large heavy unit but the handle and large wheels make it easy to maneuver. I tested it with both AC units running on my RV. It handled it easily and the noise level increase under this load was very tolerable. I am very happy with this purchase.

Bought in preparation

Getting ready for hurricane season. Hubby & I are older and we wanted a light weight inverter to power a few essentials. We have a heavier generator that we can use for longer outages. This iGen is easy to move around and set up for the frequent power outs that we often have. The electric start is a plus.

Hurricane ready

Solid build quality

I bought this to use with a transfer switch that DTE installed on my electric meter. The initial setup was easy and well explained in the manual. Westinghouse also provided detailed instructions set the generator ground as needed for the hookup to the transfer switch. The generator also started immediately first try.

The inverter generator is powerful and runs smoothly. It served my house well during the first power outage. During the second outage (last week), it ran great for about 20 hours before it suddenly stopped at night. I am in contact with the warranty service. If the problem is resolved well (which I expect), I will be a happy customer. I plan to update the review after that.

Exactly as ordered

My old generator finally broke down and I needed to replace it with a bigger generator for this hurricane season here in Houston. I did a lot of research and bought this one because of the good reviews.I am looking forward to hooking it up to my breaker box with a transfer switch to my main power box. Great Portable Generator

We bought this for the upcoming hurricane season in Florida. It has proven to be an easy set up and so easy to use. Works well with our house prewiring for a generator. User Manual easy to follow.

Big Boy

Many similar generators seem to have trouble with the CO2 sensors, but this one has been great. And, the remote start is a game changer. It runs a chop saw and medium-duty welder with room for voltage spikes.

Getting started

Purchased this ecogen 10000 watt generator , 3 days later it was delivered. After reading the manual to familiarize myself with a new generator I proceeded to assemble the unit. The assemble went with out any problems or surprises , simple and fairly quick I had it up and running for the initial break in period in about 40min .So far it has been excellent and I don't for see any problems .
