Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse ecoGen10000 Remote Electric Start 10000 Starting / 7600 Running Watt Gasoline Single Fuel Inverter Generator

Great features, lighter and quiter.

Generator seems to work well, I like the idle down function, and the value for the money is excellent. I will be buying a second. The only complaint I would have is that the oil port for filling is difficult to access and fill. The real test will be its longevity.

Great product.

Great product. Plenty of power. Easy to start & great hookups.

Good product

Bought this item a week ago and looks great. Package very well will easy to read instructions

Time to upgrade after last storm

Survived the recent storm with my 5000k generator, but struggled to keep up with my power demands. Doubling my generator output was a priority. The ecoGen10000 does that for a reasonable price and higher efficiency for long outages.

Great usable power

Bought to power my RV & does it with power to spare. Easy start & plenty of power.

Easy to assemble and start.

Easy to assemble and move to desired locations. Electric start woks well. Backup generator for southwest Florida Home.

1-year into owning, wouldn't work when needed.

Service manual shows diagrams for a different generator. I confirmed the manual is the correct for the device, but the diagrams in it are wrong in many spots. The battery it came with for auto-start feature was end of life on arrival, not holding enough charge for much. As for the generator itself. It's foreign built. Parts next to impossible to find, good service manual information is impossible to obtain. Westinghouse's warranty claims process is so horrific you might as well just forget you h...

Great features with plenty of power.

Bought this after we had a rain storm and was without power for two and a half days. A week later we had another storm and lost power for 3 days. Unit worked flawlessly.

THE GENERATOR WAS PACKED VERY GOOD NO BREAKAGE HAVE NOT STARTED IT YET. WILL KEAVE ANOTHER REVIEW AFTER I GET IT RUNNIG.

Nice compact generator

I bought this to use in the event of a power failure at my house. I had a much larger gen that was too big and heavy to roll out easily. This one is a nice compact size and should be plenty of power for our lights, fridge/freezers and well pump. Inverter puts out a nice 60Hz output. Instructions are right in the manual for how to convert to a floating neutral for whole house application.

Easy use! Great features!

Perfect for the camper. Great features like size and power.

No Other Choice

Westinghouse makes the ONLY inverter generator this size that isn't surrounded in a plastic cover (which usually breaks after a season). So if an open frame high wattage inverter generator is what you need, you'll have no choice but to buy this.

Overjoyed

I just bought this generator three days ago due to extended power outage. It’s my first generator after researching a number of brands I choose this one because of brand name and features. I now feel that I made the right choice, like, remote start and enough power to run my entire house. Oh and the tri fuel and the ability to tie into my home electrical panel is a dream come true. I highly recommend this unit!

Exciting possibilities!

Set up was easy, and this baby’ll give us all we need for tailgating, camping with our RV, or backing up our house!

Assembly was easy and the generator started right up.
