Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse WGen3600DFc Remote Electric Start 4650 Starting / 3600 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual fuel Portable Generator

Wouldn't start on propane

Spent 2 days trying to get the geny to start on propane and the starter would just stick and start whining. Recieved it on Friday and with the labor day holiday support will not be in till tuesday.

when new ok. used oil, now no compression

Great features

I bought it a month ago. It’s easy to use and runs great.

One of the best

Love this generator. It's small but heavy and mighty. Round out small camper with ease and the duel fuel option really help out. And the key fob is nice when it's cold or rainy and u don't wanna go out and start it. Nice manageable unit. Only thing is this particular one didn't come with wheels or handle. Have to order it separately at an additional 80.00. plus the 3 year warranty is nice. Everything Westinghouse we have owned has lasted 12 plus years! Great yet underestimate brand name. Great b...

nice generator

Assembly was really easy. started right up

Still waiting

Westinghouse is a sham. They do not back their products; they hoodwink the buyer into thinking that they will fix the problem. I'm still waiting on my replacement generator. They say they will fix it, and you don't hear from them again. Never again will I buy a Westinghouse product.

Great Generator

I love how easy it is to start. It is the perfect size for my needs.

Propane

I like my gen however having trouble starting air conditioner seems to bog down. Not enough starting power only 2hrs on it. Runs starts no issues any advice???

WARNING

Don't know what's worse, generator or Westinghouse warranty service. Locked up after 16 hrs. Nearest service center 75 miles. 4 months later and I had to buy another brand to replace, they deemed unfixable, only would replace, no refund, don't need another piece of untrustworthy crap. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

love this generator

There is alot to love about this. I especially like the ability to use propane instead of gas. Its less of a hassle to store. It is heavy but has wheels which allow you to move it fairly easily. I also love the remote starter. Set up was easy and straightforward. I called customer serice with a few questions and they were very helpful.

Would be ok if the battery would start it.

I bought this on 1-6-25 and have used it 2 times . The push button start will not start it. It runs down the battery. Have to jump the battery to get it to start. Thus should not be happening. Very upset with this generator. Have to buy a new battery now.

Good unit

Runs very well glad I purchased it. Looking forward to using it in future

Great generator

I bought this 2 months ago after a power outage. Runs quiet provides enough power.

works for what I bought it for

Priced right and easy to start, Runs all night on a tank of gas. Would buy it again.

Been a great generator

Bought this for emergency power and has worked great always starts easy.

Great Generator - Easy to start, workswell

I bought for backup power at my lake house. A lot of trees & a lot of power outages. Electric start is great, starts right up! Dual fuel is nice since I use propane. 3600 watts is all I need. Price very reasonable. Easy to operate. Wheels & handle makes it easy to move to needed location. Westinghouse is a solid company. I am very happy with my purchase.
