Reads double-digit numbers ok. After 99°F instead displaying 100° F it du displays 400°...and so on!!!

Thermometer failure

I was given this thermometer as a gift and used it about a year then it stopped working. Tried to change the battery but the tiniest screwdriver would not remove the screw. Ready to throw it away. Very disappointed.

Best instant read thermometer

I’ve been using these probes for years multiple times a week. They seem to last about 3 years before the numbers start to not work. But they are great and instant read. I can’t recommend these enough they’re wonderful.

Great thermometer, worked great…till it didn’t

Bought this from a local home store. Best instant read digital thermometer I’ve owned. But once the battery died, couldn’t get it working again. Tried 4 different batteries from 4 diffferent packs. No luck, it crapped out. Too bad, I really liked it.

Will NOT Turn ON

Unit worked great at the start but now is by chance it will turn on or not, probaly used no more then 20 times

Failing Display

Had bought one of these years ago and it worked flawlessly for years. I've bought two replacements in the last few months and both have had the same problem; the display suddenly fades so as to be unreadable. This one failed within a month of purchase. When they work, they're great - that's just not been the case lately.

Turned to s$&t!

I’ve used these for quite a few years. The old ones worked great. Recently bought four more and they shut off, only show half the numbers, or won’t turn on at all.Very disappointed:(

Faulty display

Use this about twice a month. Suddenly only potions of the digital numbers appear on the screen making it impossible to read. Fully charged battery. Accurate when it works

It just stopped working

Bought this thermometer this early this year . Got a few usages out of it then stopped working. Replaces the battery and won’t turn on .

REALLY Love Weber but this is a problem

It melts very quickly if you accidentally let the lid down---

Did not work right out of the package

Bought this to go with our new Weber grill, but the display wouldn't come on at all. Replaced the battery, and it worked once. Now the screen is blank and it won't come on at all again. Very disappointed in this product since I purchased it due to the Weber name and reputation and I am out the cost of the product and a new battery.

Need explanation as to intended use.

The instructions say operating range is 32F to 122F. Is this meant to check meat for cooked temperature or for checking safe temperature during storage? 122F is too low of a limit for cooked meat.

Only Worked One Time

Used this thermometer once before it stopped working. It would not turn on the next time I went to use it. I just changed out the battery, and it worked for about 20 seconds before the display went out again and would not turn back on. The owner of Batteries Plus told me that it is probably shorting out the battery. Terrible product, given the amount of negative reviews indicating similar problems.
