Worked great the first and only time it turned on
Happy with the item out of the box, however as others have suggested the longevity of the product is questionable. After using once and making sure to clean it as directed, I went to use it again a couple days later and the display turns on for less than a second and goes blank. This is very disappointing for the weber name as this does not seem to work for many.

Two failed even after purchasing new batteries
Would Not RecommendI bought one and the battery failed. I replaced the battery and it worked for a week. I was sure it was turned off each time. I then bought a second and had the same thing happen again. So I lost the cost of the thermometer and the extra batteries.

Had 2 that lasted a couple months
Would Not RecommendThese things are garbage and don't last. First one lasted 6 months. Thought it was a lemon so I bought another one. It lasted 3 months. Have trouble powering off and on and uses batteries like grass thru a goose!
