What Customers Are Saying
The burger press has mixed reviews. Many customers found it useful for creating uniform, well-shaped patties and appreciated features like the dual setting and dimple for even cooking. However, a significant number reported issues with the meat sticking, making it difficult to remove the patties. Some felt the press was more work than it was worth, while a few had completely negative experiences. To get the best results, users recommend spraying the press with a non-stick cooking spray before use to prevent sticking.

Would RecommendWanted a cast iron press, but this caught my eye in the store. Works great even though it’s plastic. It’s a time saver when you’re trying to make a lot of patties. Not sure why the handle detaches for “easy storage” since there’s still a stem underneath.

Great product that worked good. Definitely need to spray a non stick spray before making the patties so the meat doesn't stick.

Not the novelty item I thought it was.
Would RecommendI looked at these in the store, and kind of wanted one just because it's Weber. I always talked myself out of it because I thought it was a novelty thing. Well my brother gave me one for my birthday some years back, and believe you me, it's not a novelty. I use this almost every time I make burgers. I've found that if you form the burger and give it a light tap on the cutting board it'll come right out of the press. It's a nice addition to any griller's arsenal. So don't think it's just ...

EXCELLENT!!
Would RecommendI went to the Weber restaurant in St. Louis, MO and tested this product and I created the BEST burger that I've ever made. I purchased the Weber burger press later that night. Highly recommend.

Nice Burger Patty Press
Would RecommendWe have had some other presses to make burger patties over the years. Problem was you have to dig the patty out of the press or use way too much oil for the patty to release. With this one the patty slides off the base. Also being able to make different thickness patties with one press is great. Just measure out or weigh the amount of ground beef you want in you patties. I wast wish the bottom was stainless steel or a thicker plastic.

Poor design
Would Not RecommendDo yourself a favor and find an old flexible plastic version of this item. One party company has been selling them for decades and has enough flex so you can easily get the patty out. They are stackable and interlocking so you can make patties ahead or even freeze them for future use complete with a snap on lid. Weber makes great grills, but this accessory falls flat.

Best of several I've tried
Would RecommendThis does exactly what it should, simply, and is even reasonably priced, especially for Weber. Per the other reviewer, you do have to be semi cautious when removing the patties. I used to oil the larger piece which worked ok, but now don't bother.
