Game Changer

Okay, in all seriousness, this bad boy was a game changer. We painted the entire bedroom in one go, and it was pretty much effortless. The ability to fill it full of paint and just go at it, made a huge difference. Time kind of flew by and made the chore of painting much less of a hassle. Clean up was easy as the wife did it, I did not.

Too much paint in roller

Great concept but not very good. I tried using it in the ceiling and it took a very long time to get the paint to even come out on the roller. When it did appear and I started painting, one side had more paint than the other. One try is enough. I will go back to paint tray.

Just like so many Wagner products they have better marketing ads than they have products. This is one of those you can use it all day then throw it away or you can use it for a couple hours then spend the same amount of time trying to clean it up, because if you don't it will never work again. It is more cumbersome to use than a good quality conventional roller with an extension handle, and pan. I couldn't say that it saved any time painting ceilings byt the time I did the clean up.

Might be more trouble than it's worth

First the Good: I liked not having to go back and forth to the tray, and it saved my feet going up and down the ladder. Having the paint in the roller is very convenient. BUT, it uses so much paint. I feel like half the can was left in the roller when I cleaned it. I had to press really hard onto the wall for it to cover, and I still had quite a few touch-ups to do at the end.

Only critique, why didnt they make this sooner?!

This is very much like the HomeLife Inner-Fed paint stick. Their first product was basically a tube-and-plunger on the end of a tube built to feed a paint-roller. Their second product also had a big helix so the operator could control the paint flow a little better by slowly turning the extended plunger handle so the length would shorten and the paint would be forced out of the roller. Works as advertised.

Clean-up is a bit tedious, but it saves a lot of time in use, and avoids the runs and splatter tha regular rollers create.

Worst item ever

This is absolutely the worst item I think I’ve ever purchased from Lowe’s or anywhere else. No matter what you do the paint leaks out of the filler hole. As you pump the paint it squeezes out everywhere and goes all over the floor before you can even begin to get it on the it on the wall. When you stop to try to wipe up the paint that spilling out of the siphon hole, the paint is drying on the rod, and you cannot be cleaned before the paint drys on the plastic parts.
