This stake is being used as a back-up for another. If the dogs manage to pull the first stake out of the ground it’s up to this one next. Compared to the other stake the coils on this are narrower in overall diameter. It seems like this would have an impact on pull-out strength. Depth is sufficient to hit firm compacted soil/clay in my recent construction yard, and I had to use a 24” steel rod to torque it down all the way.
