Would RecommendThe vent fans are great! The LED light placement is too far forward and fails to illuminate the back two burners on stove top. My last range hood was a GE Profile and lasted 20 years! The halogen lamps on the GE were way better than the dinky LED bulbs.

It fit into the existing space ok, but since it was shorter than the old one, I had to use aluminum tiles to fill in the gap (which made the hood rear more "professional" and easier to clean). I liked how well it was packaged, so that any internal components would not get damaged in shipment. The installation guide - see my picture - shows exactly where you need to have the cut-outs and power cord holes. The wiring diagram works for hard-wired service to the range hood. Would RecommendI love this vent. Matte black is so nice looking, and the vent has a smooth finish, which makes cleaning it super easy. It's very large as well, and can handle a large 36 inch range.
