What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the intuitive design and hygienic features, with most reporting successful catches within hours using peanut butter bait. Many appreciate the hinged bottom compartment that eliminates direct contact and the clever trigger mechanism. However, a notable minority report inconsistent results, noting mice avoid the trap, escape after being caught, or drag it away due to its lightweight build. Some mention the trigger requires precise bait placement to function reliably. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider the trap effective and user-friendly compared to traditional snap traps.

Overall, I like this product. They came in handy because the pest control people told me I have some holes outside, so I set them up at the corner of my garage to try and catch anything. They’re very durable. I will say the only thing that I think would be a flaw, as you can see in the video, the rodent has to trigger the back of the trap to release it. So unless you put the food towards the back, I think the rodent could be sneaky antique the food without getting caught
Very easy to setup and use.
These traps are easy to setup and require almost no assembly. They look like they should reliably catch mice and the cleanup and maintenance look simple to. Great design.
Very Easy to Catch Mice
Would RecommendI saw a mouse in the kitchen/ laundry area Friday morning and by that afternoon I bought and setup Victor traps. Saturday morning, I found the dead mouse in the trap of the laundry room in-between the washer and dryer. I only used a tiny bit of peanut butter, These traps did the job and are amazing.
Not Working
Would Not RecommendI have been using these a few nights now and the mice have been able to get the peanut butter out of the bait tray without setting the trap off. I even tried placing a tiny amount farther in the tray so they would have to reach in more to get to it and that did t work. I’m not sure if something special needs to be done other than that to get it to work.
It’s a mouse trap. Safer to bait.
An update to the trap that makes baiting and setting a bit safer. Still a trap and will get the job done. Ease reset for the next guest. No problems using or trapping. Can recommend
A safer, easier alternative to snap traps.
I am a big fan of this trap for a couple reasons. First, I love how easy it is to set. Just push and click it’s done. Don’t have to worry about it snapping back on you. Second the bait area is nice and you don’t have to put your fingers in harms way to bait it. Third as a person with kids and pets it is so much safer. The way that the lift lever inside the trap works I don’t have to worry about someone accidentally setting it off and getting a toe, paw, or finger in the trap. Plastic feels sturd...
No more snapped fingers!
The ease of setting these traps deserves its own five stars! I have gotten my fingers snapped so many times while trying to set the old style traps. This design allows you to bait the trap safely and easily through a little hinged compartment on the bottom and then you simply squeeze the trap like a large clothes pin and it's set. The trap doesn't spring unless the inner cover over the bait is lifted up. It is ideal for typical, small mice. It may not work as well on larger mice and definitely d...
Worked great for mice
Would RecommendAfter finding small mice hiding inside the rock wall cracks near my chicken coop I set a couple of these using the drops. The drops failed at luring them in, but I found that putting the chicken feed (why they were there) properly in the trap worked best. Easy disposal and ready for a quick reload. Overall, highly satisfied with this trap to tackle a mice problem.
Overall I like this product and can be a good option from the other brands. It gets the job done and all you have to do is check it every day if they're is a catch or not.
This product is ready to use out of the box. All you have to do is place the bait. The bottom portion has a small rectangular latch that you can open in which a circular pre formed 1/4 inch height container to place the bait. You can place either chicken or pork meat but in my experience peanut butter works pretty well. The weight is pretty light weight and can be very portable in any location. It's made of plastic and can easily be cleaned. This product can be reset easily with every catch you ...
Easy, Quick, and Discreet mouse traps
I received this product to test, but I have actually purchased it myself several times, as I live on a bigger property. Victor Mouse traps are discreet, easy to use, and they work. I cannot see myself using the old types of mouse traps - I do not want to see or hear what gets caught. These traps do just that - You get two in each package, you load the trap from the bottom, you close and set the trap-that is it. They are safe; that is important to me as I have two dogs. I placed one in my laund...
Easy to set up
Good solid mouse traps. This is a two pack. Very easy to set up. Took about five minutes to put everything together. Bait trap is also very easy to maneuver Good sturdy plastic and It size.
Works and is easy to use
These traps were easy to unbox and learn how to use, the bait holder was a little tricky to use with peanuts but I was able to smush a nut into the cup and it worked like a charm. It caught a mouse in the first two days and was easy to release the mouse afterwards. One negative point was that it doesn’t seem to kill the mouse right away and it pooped all over and looked like it survived for at least a few hours based on the mess it made, so maybe a slightly stronger trap would be a bit more effe...
