I purchased these bars to dissassemle an old roll top desk where the old hide glue gave away so I could put it back together with modern glue. The first task was to remove some old brads that held the now non-existant bottom. The heads were sticking up about 1/8th inch. I tried to use the small bar to pull the nails in the corner since it was small enough to fit. The bar just bent and didn't budge the nail.
