It does what is designed to do and does it well. Easy to set up and use. Much better then those that use a remote control switch. Set it and forget it!

this is a good timer, does the job on a daily basis. Only had it for a week or so, but it seems to do the job. I have 3000 led lights on this one timer, works very well.

Easy

It is not too bulky and very easy to program. So far, it works fine.

I bought two of these. They are basic without many features but I knew that when I bought and the price reflected it. While I understood the price/value relationship relative to features, I did expect them to work. One worked okay but the quality is not top notch, again you get what you pay for. Switch is the only downside

It's easy to setup and program I like the fact it's quiet (was using a mechanical/rotary timer) The only issue I have with it is the switch that takes it from Always On to Timer is low profile and on the side so it's not easy to see or activate. Would have preferred the switch on the top or front of the unit instead.

15 amp Digial Lamp Timer

The 15 amp digial timer was easy to set-up. It was installed about a week ago and so far it was been woking fine.

Some digital timer are extremely confusing to program; not this one.

15 amp electronic timer

Bought one 1 year ago and was determined to purchase another. This timer has a 2-prong outlet; also, if one is using HIDs as a light source, DO NOT USE A 600 WATT OR HIGHER HID. A 400 watt HID is OK. Except for the 2-prong outlet and the HID requirements, this timer would have a rating of EXCELLENT. (The timer must be charged for at least 30 minutes before first use!)

Worth purchasing....

Never be in the dark again. perfect controlled lighting. Come home to the lights on.

Great Purchase

We've purchased several timers and this one actually works and was easy to set up.

easy to set up

If I can come home with this product, set it up within five minutes and plug it in. That is easy to set up. Took longer to open the package!!!! I am very satisfied with this product.

Bad unit or poor quality??

I bought this unit and right out of the package it was a problem. When you press the buttons to set the time and the on/off times the screen goes haywire and you can't see the numbers. It can't be used for its intended function like this.

Easy to Use

The timer is very easy to program and works great. You can program it to the minute. This is more natural than setting lights to go on exactly at the hour or half hour, etc. while you are away. I have not had it long enough to know about durability, but it seems very well made.

Very happy with this

I bought two of these timers to use around the house. I've only had them a day, so I can't speak to durability, but they are extremely easy to set and worked like a charm turning lamps on and off. I really like that they have battery backup, so if you need to move them from one outlet to another you don't have to reset everything. My only beef, not having used a timer like this before, was that the instructions didn't make it clear that the switch for the lamp has to be on. Probably one of those...

Good but could use a second outlet.

This is a good simple digital timer. It's dead simple to set the clock and the on off time. The display is nice and easy to read and the size is good. It only has one set of on/off timers which doesn't matter for my use but may be limiting to some. Main limitation in my mind is only having one outlet on the side. I'm using this to control 2 lamps in a lizard tank so a second outlet on the other should would have saved me using another cord with tripple outlet at the end. Also note that this clai...

Easy to set up

This timer is simple to use and works perfectly. Really like that you can read the digital timer and set the start and end time very easy. Most others were designed by computer nerds and several complicated steps are needed to set them. You don't even need the instructions because all you do is set the on time and the off time and plug it in.
