So Far, So Good!

I decorate my house during the Christmas holiday season with electric candles in the windows. I live in a colonial, so there are lots of windows--I need 17 candles. For years during the entire month of December, I ran around turning all the candles on, then at 11PM, ran around turning all the candles off! Good Value but hard to program.

First of all people are saying that a lot of these are DOA. YOU HAVE TO PLUG IT IN FOR A FEW HOURS TO CHARGE THE BATTERY before use. Once charged mine worked OK. The one I received is different than pictured. Mine has the buttons in a line across the bottom making it hard to set for manly fingers. Also sometimes the display goes blank as you are trying to set it. Not sure if this is a defect or just the way it is. The buttons have to be pressed squarely or it blanks out. Lowes Change Up

The product at the store with the same item number (144506) was a different model number from the one on the website (LW-68424). Don't know if that made a difference, but the timers at the store were Model Number TM-064, Item Number 0144506. Anyway, I bought two and they were both unworkable. LIke most everyone, when I see a bad review, I figure the person just didn't read or understand the instructions. Not Worth the Money

The timer was fairly easy to set up. The first time it turned the lights off it worked like a charm, but when it tried to turn the lights back on it broke.

Had a DOA timer, but was able to get it to work.

Like another reviewer, I bought 2 of these timers. When I got home with them one reset and I was able to program per the instructions with no problem. The other one was dead, would not reset - anything. Before taking it back to the store, I plugged it into an outlet. After about a half an hour, I was able to reset it and program it. We've been using them for about 6 weeks and they have worked well . Easier to program than the old mechanical type. We had a couple of power blips - no prolonged out...

Extremely easy to program!

Really nice choice if you need to program specific times. This was a gift for my mom, but I programmed it for her. It seems well-made, and I hope she gets a lot of use out of it.

Elderly friendly!!!! Easy setup and large display!

I needed this product for my parents when they home late at night. This allows them to have the light on prior to getting home so they don't stumble around trying to find the light switches. Excellent Buy

This timer is better than many that I have purchased in the past that cost considerably more money. It is simple to operate -- does the basic job of turning on a light (or other item) at a specified time and then.... turning it off at a specified time. If you need to have a timer that offers more than on/off settings (such as various times throughout the day), this one will not work for you. But.... if you just need on/off, it is perfect!

Great product for the purchase price

I purchased this timer for my Mom's caretaker to use so she could turn on and off her TV and it was simple to program. thanks for a great product.

Great idea - poor execution

I bought two of these and one was defective. Unfortunately, I had already disposed of the package so I could not return it. The product looks great and its features meet the needs of typical purchasers, but the quality control seems to be poor and internal components are most likely cheaply made. From all outward appearances, this product is great and the price is right, but beware of quality issues.

Very cost effective

It is hard to find a simple 24 hour timer these days. This one is perfect for out side lights, for instance. Very simple to set up. A good value for the cost. First time set up was a little tricky; but after reading the instructions (sometimes I don't) it was a breeze.

Exactly what I needed

I was going out of town and tried to set a couple of old lamp timers that I hadn't used in years. When I realized they wouldn't work, I immediately went to Lowe's website to find replacements. These were simple, inexpensive, and available for pick-up. It was a necessary last minute purchase and worked perfectly for me.

An Excellent Product!

These are wonderful. They are very easy to use. They might be even better if they could be set for more than one time per day. But I still like them. I love the fact that the directions are very clear and shown large enough for most people to see without a magnifying glass!

Easy, Simple and Fun!!!

This is a very simple and easy to use plug in timer. I bought 2 of them today to use for my outside Christmas Decorations on my house. It did exactly what it was suppose to do. All I did was set it to the current time of day, then set the time I wanted my Christmas lights to come on and go off, plugged it in the wall and that was it!!! You cant go wrong with this timer and the price is unbeatable!!!

I'm using this timer so that my plants at work will have some light on the weekends. The description is accurate and doesn't mislead the consumer about the product. It is a good, inexpensive option for anyone wanting an indoor light timer. This timer is VERY easy to use. It is a bit bulky, but that is very obvious in the picture and description, so just make sure to have one outlet or an extension cord dedicated to the timer.
