What Customers Are Saying
This solar-powered motion-activated light received mixed reviews. Some customers were satisfied with its performance, brightness, and ease of installation, but many experienced significant issues. The main positives included good light output, easy installation, reliable motion detection, and value for the price. However, the majority of reviews reported problems such as lights failing after a short period, inconsistent motion sensor range, quick battery drain, and water damage. Based on the feedback, this product may work well initially but has a high failure rate over time, and customers should carefully consider its limitations before purchasing.

Would Not RecommendI got this light in the summer time and put it up and it looked good and was bright as can be my wife loved it cause coming down the road just when we would pull the driveway it would turn on... beautiful.... then weather started to get chilly out it won't even turn once... other than summer works great then cold not so good... thank you
Not worth the money
Would Not RecommendEasy install took less than 20mins to mount solar panel, light and secure the wire. Light was brite enough to light the area it needed to. Didn't detect motion more than maybe 20 ft. Charged it longer than instructed it went on and off twice as I was showing it to my wife the 1st night, 2nd night nothing battery indicator said out of juice. Took it back at $60 not worth it. Might just be not enough sun here in Washington. It may work well somewhere else. I'll try one from harbor freight at 1/2 t...
Stopped working after a couple months.
Would Not RecommendLived the light until it stopped working after only a couple months. Didn't keep the receipt so I'm out $70 bucks.
Disappointed
Would Not RecommendI purchased 3 of these lights roughly 12 months ago and they worked fine for about 8-9 Months, then stopped. When approaching them, they blink 3 times then turn off. Very disappointed because I doubt Lowes will let me return them now. Had I known they'd last less than a year, I would have made another choice.
Stopped working almost 11-months after purchase
Would Not RecommendStopped working almost 11-months after purchase. Never really worked correctly. Set the timer for 1 or 3 min...light stayed on for about 40 seconds. Today I checked to see if it took a battery. It does...some weird looking "giant" battery that resembles a huge AA. Screws all stripped too when putting it in...took me 20 min to get it down. In the trash now.
I Like it!
Would RecommendNeeded some type of light for our tool/storage shed. Now we have lots of light the second you open the door. The light stays on either 1 minute or 3 minutes after you leave, I put it at 1 minute. For the price and quality it's well worth. Don't know why it getting only 3 stars??? I give it a well earned 5.
Works great for about nine months
Would Not RecommendWorked great perfect for my needs and then the solar battery died.
great light
Would Recommendinstalled this on my shed for added security and has a nice bright lights and good detection of movement

Dissappointed
Would Not RecommendI have purchased 2 of these, and both last a few months, and eventually the run time gets shorter and shorter til they no longer work. I don't have the time to climb up and down a ladder and replace it every 6 months. Very dissappointed as I live in a bad area and need the security of motion sensor light.
EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Would RecommendI have several different brands of solar motion detector light around my property and was a little hesitant to pay what Lowes wanted for this model, but with the strength of the lights and supposed motion range, I thought I take a chance on at least one. I'm glad I took the chance! It works perfect and the light is one of the brightest I've ever found ( and believe me I've tested many of them on my place to find something that actually worked). Granted, I've had a few that had a detection distan...
Works great while it's charged...
Would Not Recommend...but the charge only lasts about 30 minutes. Not so great when your on the patio. Looks like I'll have to run wiring for an actual light. This is going back.
Overpriced
Would Not RecommendInstallation was ez. Charged batteries 3 days before turning on. Only worked for one week then just quit. A waste of money.

Stay away from these
Would Not RecommendI really wanted these LED solar lights to work. I had two locations where they would have been perfect. After buying two of them, last weekend I took both back for credit. They were actually the 4th and 5th ones I had. ALL FIVE of them died. Lowes kept replacing the dead ones. Having an electronics background in my job, I looked into the problem. There is a major design flaw. The voltage comes in from the solar panel. The voltage goes through a small regulator chip on the main circuit board, to ...
Worked for maybe two weeks
Would Not RecommendEasy to install, and worked great for the first two weeks. Now it does not work at all. It will only work in test mode when the bright sun is hitting the solar panel. I am very disappointed I purchased this item. One star is too high a rating.
Good lighting for a tough location
Would RecommendOne side of my house is mostly brick with no electric access, so a traditional floodlight wasn't an option. We mounted this solar one above the only window and had plenty of cord to wrap the solar panel to a sunnier side of the house (the dark side also has several large, dense trees). I was worried that we wouldn't have enough sun to power it, but even with only a few hours of direct sun a day, it's doing a fine job of lighting our dark corners.

Great when it works - battery issues/solution
Would RecommendThis product is great....when the battery is working. I gave it a rating of 1 for design because it's very stupid that you can't simply replace a battery, and instead are instructed to buy an entire new unit. We went through 2 of these, each of them lasting about a little more than a year. After which the battery refused to charge anymore (at first the lights would flash on and off a few times and then stay off). This wouldn't be a big deal if the battery was something you could easily replac...
Great Solar Light
Would RecommendThis light was easy to install and provides adequate light to see everything in my driveway and house entrance to enhance safety and security. The motion sensor is very sensitive providing immediate light when needed.

Good for 6 months
Would Not RecommendInstalled in summer of 15'. By late fall, it was failing to light. Was great - when it worked. Tried re-adjusting the solar panel - no fix. I expected it to last longer. JUNK!
great light.... till it quit working
Would Not Recommendgreat light for the backyard, good white light... Until it quit working about 6 months later. Solar panel gets power, unit gets power, but the timer and/or motion sensor no longer work. Checked mfg website and there are NO replacement parts for this light offered... I thought at $60+ it would be a better product.... live and learn.
