just ok

I purchased 3 of these lights and I must say that they are rather bright, just great for those dark areas at night, but the downfall of them is after about a year they really are worthless. You can not replace a battery or anything else on them. I have one still working when it wants to, the other 2 have quit working and are in the sun daily all day long. I have cleaned the panel, checked connections and still nothing. I guess the 69.00 for a year isn't that bad, but why not make the battery rep...

Great little light

I placed it on an out side building. It lights a large area of the yard and the motion detector works great. My small Boston Terrier can make the light come on (main reason I purchased it).

Works when it feels like it

I like the amount of light it puts out. The ability to adjust the lights is limited in the desired directions. My biggest problem some mornings the motion sensor works and some mornings it doesn't. I typically have 2 days a week the light does not come on. It's not related to street lights or other street lights effecting it. I can't recommend it. I have had it six months. Died after one year

After one winter and one summer, refused to work anymore. Would get flashing lights that indicated 'low charge' condition of the battery, then it would refuse to work on the 1 minute or 3 minute setting. Solar panel output was good. Others have had the same problem, yet Lowes continues to sell this lemon.

great light cheaper than running wires

nice bright light....cheaper than buying wire and running cable to just buy a solar light

Burnt out after one month.

Recieved this as a gift.dangerous fire hazard. melted a hole through the equipment.

Long term review

Bought one then went back for 3 more. Have been using them for about 2 1/2 years. The way the solar panels face make a big difference on how well the batteries charge and the life cycle. The ones we were able to point South have done much better, several months difference in lifespan (non South, lasted much shorter). Battery is too small

While very bright the battery is undersized as is the solar panel. A couple of days with partly cloudy skies and the light is dead. There is no alternative charging port.

Great product

Real easy to install. Worked immediately. Lights are very bright. Great value.

Works Perfect.

The light shines very bright. The motion detector has great range charges fully in two days.

Sucks

I bought one about 6 weeks ago. Stopped working. Took back replaced for another one. Had it charging for about 4 days. Nothing. Took that one back. No I didn't get another.

battery issues

I purchased 5 of these lights in 2015 and I have had to replace all of them at least once, some twice under the 2 year warranty. the batteries last about 8 months then the light won't last 1 min of operation then flashed 3 times and that is it. I would not recommend these lights unless the company upgrades the battery system. The LED lights and the motion detection works good and have had no problems with that part of the unit.

Adequate Lighting for My Purpose

Being LED, I thought the lumens output would be much higher and the lights would yield a brighter light, but was slightly disappointed. Needless to say, considering my purpose for the lights (lighting up my carport), the brightness is adequate. Easy to install even though I had to drill holes for the solar panel base, drill and attach a piece of sheet metal to mount the lights on, and drill a hole through carport frame to slide the wiring through. Bad batteries, bad design

If I had written this review a week after purchasing this light it would have been rated a 4 star product. When it worked, it worked well and put out a lot of light. However, 6 months down the road has given me a better evaluation of the product. As many have commented, the battery does not last long and is not designed to be replaced on site. The light died within 2 months.

Once installed this light was awesome! super bright, and everything we hoped for. but about a month into use, it started to not always turn on. Within 2 months, it was completely dead. When I returned back to Lowes, the customer service person said "What a surprise, another one broken". That told me everything I needed to know right there!
