Bright Light Where You Need It.

I put this light on my back porch where I grill. There are no power outlets available, so I had to use solar. The previous owner of the house had placed a solar light there many years ago. Excellent Light

I purchased this light one year ago and it is still working! I live in Barbados and very close to the ocean (Atlantic side) where we constantly bombarded with salt spray. Followed the instructions to the letter and worked very well right out of the box. Battery life is OK and will last through the night, unless a lot of motion is detected, turning on the light numerous times. I will be purchasing two more of these on my upcoming trip to Texas from Lowes.

perfect for small areas

this light was brighter than expected, i use it to light up a small area thats void if light at night and its perfect. great for areas that dont see alot of foot traffic but need light when there is. i will be buying more soon!!

Perfect and simple

Kind of made out of a cheap plastic, but everything about this light is great. Bright White Light. 16' cord for the solar panel so you can position it in a good spot. Battery life has been great even on cloudy rainy days. I went back and bought 2 more.

Will not hold charge

After charging in bright sun for 4 days, a number of times, the light will come on only 2 or 3 times for 1 minute and then blinks indicating a low battery and then shuts down. The bad part is there is no available replacement for the battery according to the Utilitech/Lowes customer service rep. And the battery is a non-standard, specialty type. This is a brand new unit.

I had both up in 30 minutes

Easy to install, simple to adjust and very bright LED's. We will probably buy a couple more very soon.

Seemed like a good product

Mine failed after three months. Now I will try to contact the manufacturer to see if there is any warrenty.

Worked great for a week or 2

I put this just out on my back patio, not for security but more so it would light the patio when I walked out. It worked great for a week or 2, now it just flashes a few times and shuts off. Nothing I have tried has made it work normal again. For sure will never buy another one.

Lowes should have Utilitech Co.

Lowes should have the products manufactured and on their shelf to sell be tested prior to the sales floor and not by customers who have purchased the products . A good warrantee shows that a product has been given long term testing by a manufacturing co. like Utilitech . This product has no warrantee by the company and falls under Lowes return policy . I purchased this light system to use as a security light in the back yard of our home. I mounted it under the eaves and mounted the solar panel on the facia panel of the roof on the south side of the house. We have stucco siding so I used toggle bolts to mount the light and solar panel, instead of the hardware that is supplied with the system. Worth the money

We purchased this product after a disappointing online purchase somewhere else. This one was easy to install, works very well, and is worth the extra money we had to spend to get it. It has a 180 degree range of motion which is very convenient, and picks up the slightest movement. It's exactly what we wanted and needed in an area where no electric is available. The man who assisted us at Lowes was very helpful and knowledgeable. You can't go wrong with this light.

Sensor is good enough to pick up a shitztu when placed at recommended mounting height.
