What Customers Are Saying
The digital timer has a large display and dual outlets, which some users found to be useful features. However, many customers reported issues with programming the timer, describing the instructions as unclear and the device as difficult and complicated to set up. Several users experienced problems with the timer resetting, losing time, or randomly turning on and off, leading some to return or replace the product. While a small subset of customers were able to successfully program the timer and found it to be a capable and flexible device, the overall consensus is that the product is unreliable for many users.

Would Not RecommendThe timer display is ok and I found programming wasn't that bad. I set 2 different times for a A/C unit in a shed, 12pm-2pm then 4pm-6pm. It seemed to work but then I went out to the shed about 7pm andctge A/C was running and the red LED was not lit. I pulled the timer and cleared all times and reset with only one time 12pm on, 2pm off. Again, the A/C was running after the set time to shut off. Looking fir another tiner.
Great 7 day timer.
Would RecommendI wanted a timer that is programmable for a weekly event and programmable by the day. This fits the bill nicely.

Reliable and Easy to Use
Would RecommendI have several of these timers for various purposes. They have lasted for years and are very reliable - the time never varies for more than a minute or so, meaning they are not exact, but then again, they don't need to be exact. Also, they are easy to program. One bit of advice - when new, plug them in to charge for several hours, then reset the timer. Afterward, setting the time and programming will be a breeze.
Simply doesn't work
Would Not RecommendIt's possible that some of the stock may just be different, but I have a master's degree in software engineering, so I was expecting/hoping that it was just a poorly designed device that I could figure out. Unfortunately, it simply doesn't follow the schedule you set for it (at least if you get one like mine). I wanted to use it to turn on my Christmas tree at different times/durations during the week, and when that failed, I backed off to just turning on at the same time every day and off at ...
Nice display
Would RecommendNice big display. Programming was not very intuitive and took a bit of study and time.

incredibly complicated
Would Not RecommendI work in I.T. and have written software for some of of the largest corporations in the country. I could not get this timer to set up correctly. Multiple pages of steps. One of the least 'intuitive to use' products I've ever purchased. Do not purchase or you'll be making a 2nd trip to Lowes to get a refund.
Eight pages of warnings and instructions
Would Not RecommendWhen you get this open and there are seven pages of instructions to set it, you know you made a mistake! To say this is non-intuitive is a gross understatement! It is absolutely convoluted. Take it back while you can.
Next gen timer
Would Not RecommendSetup is not intuitive and you must read/follow the instructions. Unit does work well once setup. Excited about "random" function to turn lights on/off while away from home.

Not worth the money or aggravation
Would Not RecommendI have tried three of these timers and none of them worked properly. I finally bought a different brand.

Don't buy.Confusing, resets itself, lasted 3Months
Would Not RecommendWe bought this to manage accessories for my son's fish tank. Auto and On are confusing, because they don't always work. Once I got it figured out, the timer would stop working randomly a few days, or a week later. i would re-program it, only to have the same thing happen. Then, about 3 months after purchasing, the whole display froze. The unit is toast. I can't find my receipt otherwise I would return it for a refund.
Very easy to use. Works as advertised.
Would RecommendI found the timer very easy to program and functions as it is supposed to. I don't think the product deserves all the bad reviews here because people can't understand the included simple instructions. The instructions are very clear and to the point, easy to understand, at least for me. A child age 12 or over should be able understand this device easily. It is a 7 day timer. You set the clock time and day of week it is first. You choose standard or military time. You program an on and off time a...
Replaced, found a better one
Would Not RecommendThis replaced a circular one where you set the time raising an lowering "stops". That was impossible to set, even with the instructions in front of you to read. This new one was purchased as a very good one because it was electronic. We later found a better one that set the times with pins (2 per each time on period). It is easier to set the time although possibly not as accurate to the minute.
