LED 7.5 watt (40 watt equivalent)

Really nice LED, much better light than fluorescent in the same fixture, even better white light than regular bulbs in the same fixture. I think it is finally time to switch.

Motion sensor

I bought the 7 Watt vs the 7.5 not really finding any difference in the description. Warm white LED bulbs are brighter than the same CFL bulbs. Work’s well with the regular switches but not with some motion sensor. I have 2 motion sensors in a circuit controlling 3 ceiling lights. One sensor works fine but the other is making the lights go dim or flicker. Sometimes they all stay dim and other times all flickers. Label mention the bulbs can be dimmed but nothing about motion sensors. Not sure how...

Works well as porch light

My friend bought two of these for use on a houseboat. I wanted to try one out in one of the four coach lamps outside my garage. These are on a motion sensor/dimmer so I was interested to see if it would work in place of the 40W incandescent bulb I was using. It did. When the bulbs were on full bright they all looked close to the same color. Good LED bulb

Bought 4 of these for the kitchen table where we do a lot of reading and school work. Light is warm - not unlike a regular incandescent. I would lose an incandescent bulb every month - this light fixture is on and off all day long. Had one of these fail on me after 6 months but Lowe's took care of it. The other 3 are going on 1 year now without an issue.

Horrible quality of light from these LED bulbs!!!

I had high hopes for these somewhat affordable LED lights. The light they emit reminds me of the first fluorescent bulbs from the early 90's, bad. I don't know if this is because they are an off-brand, but maybe I'll try a Phillips bulb or similar to see if I can use LED in my living space after all. Decent bulb at a decent price

I have only had these bulbs for a few weeks, but I must say I am pleased with them so far. They have a decent color temperature, difficult to tell them from a standard bulb by their color or light output! They are actually brighter than a standard 40 watt incandescent in my humble opinion. The price was right as well for an LED replacement (I paid $9.95). I only hope they continute to hold up to daily use. Horrific color rendition but good luminosity

I bought just one of these about a month ago and have been quite disappointed with its color rendition. It's very difficult to tell similar colors apart (such as beige and light brown) despite the fact that its color temperature appears white as labeled. As comparison, an incandescent in the same room creates a pleasing difference between color tones even though the light from the incandescent is distinctly yellower than the light from the LED. This is a good buy

Considering the cost of this item and the energy savings measured in dollars, this is definitly a good buy. You get value for your money at Lowe's.

25,000 hours...you wish

One in 4 bulbs purchased the week before Thanksgiving have already burned. Calculated hours of use is estimated around 100 hours. So much for saving any money on electricity usage.

Efficient but could be a little better

Works well, have not had any issues with the dozen or more I have throughout my home. I've been adding them gradually over the past year. They could be more durable but you don't normally need durability in something that has traditionally been fragile glass anyhow. I have read reviews of failures but I have yet to experience any. My only complaint is that they aren't dimmable and if put into a such a fixture they hum/buzz faintly. For all other uses they are instant, bright, efficient light.

The buy online and pickup at store was hassle free.

18 out of 20 working after 18 months

While 18 of 20 are still working after using them for 18 months, I have had 2 go out after less than 2000 hours of service. I hope the other 18 make it past their 25,000 hour lifetime.

Not all bad

Keep your receipt, I bought 4 and one quite working after 3 weeks. They put out more light than you would think from a 4o watt equivilent bulb. I put two in the bathroom to replace two 60 watt old style bulbs and these were at least as bright if not brighter.

Light up quick but die fast

I have bought 15 of this A19 LED bulbs about a month ago. Place most of them in the hallway and at the flower display slot. Unlike CFL, this LED bulb reacts to switch on/off very quick and doesn't need to warm up to reach the brightest stage. However, one out of 15 bulbs just died after 2 weeks of usage. It is even the one placed at the flower display, so I just turn it on maybe 30 mins a day or so. The box said that there is a 3 years warranty so I will definitely replace it at Lowes. I am a li...

Not lasting

The first bulb has already died after just one year. At most they are turned on 3 hours per day in my kitchen. The bulbs are very bright, better than what I would expect for their rating. I'll exchange this for a replacement but probably won't purchase anymore.

16 months and still goin

have in a group of five over sink with 4 standard bulbs , the other 4 have been replaced due to failure , we dim the fixture up and down day and night ( its on more than off ) . only downside is the color of light and price . 9.99

Glad We Ordered Them!

We ordered 7 of these lights to replace CFL's in our overhead "canned" lights in the kitchen. These are really bright and we love the fact the light is instantaneous! With the CFL's we had to wait a few mintues for them to get bright. It's too soon to tell, but I'm sure we will notice a savings on our electric bill.
