The plug is extremely small and leaves no room to wire it up without risking wires touching let alone being able to close it back up.

Licensed electrician of 40 years. This has to be one of the worst designs I’ve ever seen. I would not recommend this to be used on a 50amp circuit. Makes a good paperweight on my desk tho.
