The fixture works, however it is wired so that in order to operate, you must have two bulbs in it. Needless to say, it's wired like those cheap Christmas tree lights where if one bulb goes out, so do the rest. I would have not bought this item had I known it was series wired. This saves a few pennies for the manufacturer but makes a pain for the customer use.

For the price, not bad !

Light weight, easy to install and for the price the quality is good. The only issue I had was 2 of the 5 I purchased had to be returned / exchanged because the lens cover was cracked or broken.

Cheap, but extra work.

I bought five of these fixtures for basement lighting. Although they all worked, they only have a 3/8" hole in the top for wiring. You will have to bore it out larger to install a romex clamp or box connector. The fixture is not designed to fit onto either a 4x4 or octagon box and the length of wire inside is not long enough to reach into one of these boxes,

Knock outs.

Need to have two or three bigger knock outs in different locations instead of the tiny little hole to pass the live wire through. Had to punch out holes which required extra tools and time.

Junk, don't waste you're $20

Quality was poor, but I bought two because of the price. One worked fine, the other was defective out-of-the-box - but, of course, I didn't know this until installed. It only lit up halfway. So, since they are both in the same room, I replaced the defective one with a third unit. Because it is not all intuitive as to how to get the lens off, for the purpose of changing the lamps, etc. the lens on the defective one broke during removal. Fluorescent Wrap Light

Looks great low profile but not very bright. Metal end pieces was bent. Box was sealed. Need to have items checked for damage before leaving the store.

Removed requird features

Light was easy to mount but knockouts and mounting points for the wire box were missing. Product not compliant for electrical inspection without adding a knockout or box mount. Re-visited store and knockout openings and box mount are on store display.

Good basic FL fixture at value price

Purchased in store; basic two-tube fixture without mounting hardware. Takes two to four toggle bolts or roundhead wood screws to hang. Also wire nuts to complete connection. Grounding screw for "green" wire is included but awkward due to nut-bolt and lock washer rather than self-tap machine screw. Lots of fun fumbling with all that while trying to work on a ladder. Just remember to buy the hardware and two lamps when you take it home because none of that is included.

Fluorescent Lights

I was replacing a couple of florescent lights that had gone bad. The last ones that I had purchased, had knock-out at the end for joining two lights together, as well as a 1" and 2" knock-out in the middle for wires. A wire guide cover was also included. These lights, which were the only ones that I could find as a replacement item, had none of those features. great value

We were in a pinch to replace a light when the ballasts failed. This fixture is a great task light for the price. Simple and effective. Didn't take long for my husband to install. It's best to have a helper to hold one end since it's 4 ft long. I bought the fluorescent tubes that are Cool White 89069 and listed as useful for laundry rooms and they REALLY illuminate the entire room.

Utility light - nothing more

Put four of these in my garage. Well built. Excellent brightness. One drawback (IMHO) is light cover slips into place so it can be a little difficult to remove/reinsert. When installing, don't overtighten mounting scews - it'll deform the housing a bit & make bulb installation more difficult.

nice looking fixture

Comes with prepunched holes for mounting screws. But you better have a step drill bit, since there are no knockouts. Have to drill your own hole for a romex connector or nonmetallic bushing. Otherwise a decent unit for the price

Great light

This light is very easy to install and puts out a lot of light. You will need 4 toggle bolts to go in a drop ceiling or a spacer and screws to put up on a solid ceiling or wood.

The fixture was easy to install and looks professional. The fixture is a good value.

Stay Away!!!

Purchased six of these for my basement. The third one just failed last week. I have been replacing them as they fail, but the new model is manufactured differently, so it is not a quick change. Such poor quality.

Good inexpensive light fixture

This was an under $25 flourescent fixture for a closet. It is well made, looks good and throws off lots of light. I installed in within 20 minutes.

not as advertised

Display model had knockouts at each end for electrical wiring access along with an internal cover to conceal the wiring. The actual lights had neither knockouts nor the internal cover.

great light

We bought this light for our closet. Easy to install and perfect size. Bought the T-8 6500k bulbs.

Inexpenssive light

Price is very reasonable, durability not. sockets may break off and shield may fall off.
