good for the price

I put this in my garage and it does the job well. Quality is decent but this is a cheap light so I'm sure more expensive models Wil be nicer.

Installed 4, good experience overall

My son and I installed 4 of these, replacements for 10 year old fixtures with bad ballast, etc. Overall they were pretty simple to install, and have functioned well. Our only suggestion would be either a knock-out or a considerably larger hole for the wiring to feed through. We had to drill out a couple of them. A knock-out on either end of the fixture would be great as well.

Purchased one to replace an older one that was in a closet. Very easy to install, adequate lighting, so I purchased two more and replaced two other older models. Only draw back, no switch on the light itself like there were on my older ones.

Flimsy

I didn't like these fixtures because they cannot be hung with a chain as a typical fluorescent light fixture can. They are also very flimsy. There is no cord to plug them in. They must be hard-wired.

Perfect Lighting at a Great price

I purchased this light for the slim fit . I put the daylight bulbs in and it is the brightest light in the house now. This was used for inside my pantry and I could not be happier. The inexpensive light is perfect even though the light itself is not fancy it works better than all those lights that are from what I have seen on display. Not what u see

Product on display is not the same product in the box for sale. Check out the (knock out) ends and the fitting of the cover does nor fit tight.

Worth it

I bought two if these to double the light in my garage. They are similar in design to the original pair and make the garage bright and useable for doing projects. Easy to install, just remember to buy a pair of T8 bulbs and a plastic grommet to protect where the wires pass thru the metal.

Florescent light

easy to install (need your own fasteners), light weight, works well - what more can you expect from a utility light.

No problems here with light tube connector

nice inexpensive light I st mine up in my camper with no problem a Phillips screw driver and two wire nuts, easy install and used 6500k T 8 lights available at lowes a nice bright white light. instant start ballast and has made a big difference in light I can see again. when placing in bulbs gently push connector out once in fleel for double click. easy install

Will do, wires directly to box

No cover for wires and transformer. Connects in box directly. If your old set up had a cover plate to hide wires, you will have to put them inside the box in the ceiling now.by feeding the wires through a hole in the top of the light frame. I put a couple of daylight shade t-8 bulbs in there and the room is very well lit.

Good, depending upon application

I purchased 8 units to light 1/2 of a 32’ X 40’ garage, new construction. All were in good shape when unpackaged. The cases are light weight but not unmanageably flimsy. I mounted the units longitudinally on exposed roof beams and drilled my own holes to mount and feed wires as needed. I installed all 8 including running wires to the switch and breaker box in about 8 hours. All worked when lighted. Specifications too vague

These fixtures require an external electrical box to connect to power. The fixtures do not have a wireway to make the connection. There are no knockouts on the plastic ends of the fixtures. The store demo had a hole drilled in the fixture plastic end and a romex connector installed, leaving me to believe there were knockouts in both ends and I didn't remove the lens to check the internals. easy to install

Unit installed (in an existing location) very easily. 4 screw in (drywall anchors) and screws and the unit was in. The only surprise was the unit DID NOT come with bulbs which meant a second trip to the store. And, I don't remember seeing that information on the box; ergo "NO LAMPS CONTAINED" .
