Would RecommendI don’t own a brake to custom bend aluminum or sheet metal so when I needed to replace a piece of flashing over a window my options were limited. This worked perfectly for my needs and was a economical solution for this project. I wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase again if needed.

Ok for the Price
Would Not RecommendSuper flimsy, bends easily and leaves creases in it. Wish it was wider to give it the space it needs from the edge of the house.

Good for window flashing
I used this for flashing the top of my windows I just replaced (from Lowes). Lightweight, easy to cut and work with.

It's is a drip cap, not a good one, but a drip ca
Would Not RecommendGot this drip cap when I was getting ready to reside my house. (They where out of what I wanted to get) Works OK as a drip cap, just has a very sharp edge all the way down the leading edge. It is not bent over onto it's self. Thus the sharp edge is there after you install it. Anything that can rube it GET CUT. Kid's feet, dog's paws. I would have gotten the regular one's if they had them in stock, not these things. And I think this drip cap was the same price too.

Wish it came in 1" depth
Would RecommendThis should really be called cap flashing. The 1.5 " depth would work well to cap a deck ledge fastened to a house. I needed it to cap a 5/4 exterior window frame. It's too deep for that. Material is thin but adequate for the use.

Here's a Little Trick!
Would RecommendI work on homes in the Historic areas of the city. Most of the Historic homes have a lot of trim, and like my house, the windows have a ledge or flat trim board above the windows. I don't care how much you paint and caulk, it will still rot out next to the house. I've started buying the painted drip edge from Lowe's for about $4.00 for 10 feet. Then I cut it to the with of the window. Then you reverse it and put caulk behind it to stick it to the window top and the exterior wall of the house. No...
