Mineral spirits will clean up mess left by label

Useful product but our purpose for the product did not include leaving a paper sticker on the product. The sticker applied by Lowes peeled off without leaving a residue. The label applied by the manufacturer did leave an adhesive mess. Time was spent on locating & using wire brushes & paint scrapers with warm water. Specifications are wrong; Not nearly as thick.

Specifications say 0.087 inches. I measure it at about 0.0085 inches. 10 times thinner than specified.

Easy to work with easy cut with a pair of everyday scissors.

Worked well for what I needed it for

Had a problem with my dish washer leaking and had caused a little damage to cabinets on either side so while I had the dishwasher out repairing it I used this to flash the floor to cabinets and the back wall to prevent any further damage if the leak should reoccur.

Did the job

Needed extra flashing to stop squirrels from trying to get in my house. Good flashing. Only complaint is you should wear gloves or when you grab it you will get cut since it is not all cut flush.

Alternate use for flashing

I use this aluminum flashing to make funnels for experiments that I do in biology classes. It works very easily and works well.

Easily bent but sturdey - edges are quite sharp

This roll of aluminum is sturdy but easily bent. Be careful when handling because the edges are quite sharp.
