Would RecommendI used the flashing to cover some rotten boards on a 110 year old house. The old tongue and groove boards are 4 inches wide. New boards are only 3 1/2 inches so there is a gap to fill in. I covered the bad spot and used latex caulking to seal the edges and then I painted over it. I hope by next year to put siding on my house so this is a temporary fix. Worked great and now no leaks.

Would RecommendMuch easier to work with than galvanized tin flashing. However if your not careful it will not lay flat. Either way, for the chicken coop I’m building it was a perfect choice!
