What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these staining pads for delivering smooth, even finishes faster and easier than brushes or rags. Most highlight superior application with one-pass coverage, consistent stain distribution, and excellent durability that holds shape through oil-based finishes. The pads absorb well and clean up easily, with many planning to repurchase. However, some report significant lint and fiber shedding that can contaminate topcoats and compromise final results. Despite this drawback, the majority consider them a worthwhile upgrade for both DIY and professional projects.

Good lint free application for food safe finishes.
Would RecommendLint freely soft applicator. I used it to apply a wax and oil finish to wooden food serving products. It left a good low gloss finish with no lint.

Much better than rags
Would RecommendFor applying stain especially if you're doing a lot of boards at once, these pads work great for getting a lot of stain on the board so you can work with it. Sponge inside holds quiet a bit of material, so you can move it quickly especially if you're trying to cover a large surface like a dining room table. Still my favorite to spread stain with, of course rags are cheap, but it's messy, and its a lot of back and forth often. These make doing stain work much more enjoyable.
