Not as advertised
Would Not RecommendDespite what Trex advertises this product is NOT easy to install. There is zero margin of error in your measurements and cutting. And if you need additional hardware it’s stupid expensive, a bracket kit is over $20. That’s 4 plastic brackets and some screws and no support piece. If I had to do over again my railing would be made of treated wood.

Sturdy and good looking rail.
The screws are square and a phillips/square hybrid. It would be nice to have all one type. I had the hybrids strip out on me. Also, hidden brackets would be better. I noticed Dekorators have white brackets and it blends in easier.

Would RecommendSturdy, great looking railing. Was initially concerned that it would be flimsy, but it is actually made of great quality. Recommend googling video of installation which simplified the instruction on the sheet that is given. Video had several tips which helped improve the efficiency of installation.

Beautiful Railing
These were very easy to assemble if you follow the directions and have a partner to help. The first set took us about 30 minutes and then after was very quick. The deck looks complete now.

Pretty good, but need 3 different drill bits.
Would RecommendPretty strait forward install. Just wish I didn’t need to change between 3 different drill bits to drive the screws. I had to use a Phillips to fix the rails to the post, a square to fix the rail hardware to the rails, and a torx to fix the center foot to the deck.
