What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these hidden fasteners for making deck installation faster and easier, with the built-in spacing clips ensuring perfect, consistent gaps without manual measuring. Most love the clean, screw-free aesthetic that eliminates visible holes and delivers a professional finished look. Many report saving significant time and effort during installation. However, some customers report that the included screws strip, break, or fail under normal pressure, raising durability concerns. Despite this drawback, most reviewers consider the product worthwhile for its ease of use and superior appearance.

No calls
Would Not RecommendEver since I bought these at Lowe's, I have been deluged with unsolicited phone calls from home improvement companies trying to sell me windows, doors, siding, roofing, and more. These calls started AFTER my Lowe's purchase, so I can only assume they got my phone number from Lowe's. This is unacceptable, and will cost Lowe's my business.

Screws too small
Would RecommendI like the concept of these fasteners but I really think they dropped the ball on the length and diameter of the screws especially with the quality of the softer pressure treated lumber these days. One year later, I have to tighten the screws on dozens of these fasteners on my deck. They’re ok if you don’t mind tightening them down periodically.

Slick
Would RecommendHave not installed yet, but appear easy to use and will keep a consistent spacing. I have never used trex brand before but these look nicer than Menards brand. Will update once installed
