Bought a second batch of these boards to finish a project. The first batch were about 145-1/2" (slightly over the 12' advertised.) Thats good! Lets you square the edges if necessary or trim to the required 12'. However, in the second batch ALL of the boards (ten total) were 143-3/8" (about a half inch short of 12 feet). Would Not RecommendDid my entire deck in toasted sand and less than 6 months nearly all the decking had split. Direct sun here in Hawaii caused it to crack than split. Trex warranty is so-so. They helped me through the process of getting replacement boards but doesn’t cover labor, etc… Now 8 months later the new boards are cracking as well. These boards do not hold up. Really let down. Just cant walk on it
Would Not RecommendI live in Georgia and purchased this decking for around my pool as it looks very nice and thought it would be safe for my grandkids and family members to walk on without the worry for splinters. Big mistake - the decking gets so hot in the summer you cant walk on it without shoes. Imagine having to wear shoes on a pool deck. Wish I could change it out after spending so much money on it.
