Ratings & Reviews for Trex Enhance Naturals 1-in x 6-in x 16.0-ft Toasted Sand Grooved/Scalloped Composite Deck Board

Gorgeous investment

The old boards were 20 yrs old and needed so much TLC. I decided that this investment was so much better than traditional lumber. And is gorgeous

Top Service with Lowe’s

The color is closer to real wood.

Trex it and forget it

I love the look of the deck with trex and knowing that it will last for a very long time is great

Watch screw size

Product good but watch the screws on non slotted boards. The ones with really small heads strip you easily. Then you can't back them out or finish putting them in. If your driver is only slightly out of line it strips them out. Us larger headed screws

The boards are not square

My finished deck, using all Trex materials was a disappointment. The deck boards came warped in every direction possible. The worst part is that the cross section of each board was a slight U shape, so every time it rains, there is a small lake on every board. If you look down the long edge of the boards, they look like lines a skier would carve in the snow. All of them at the store are that way. I wish I had done wood. Be prepared to give instructions to delivery Man

So Far So Good.... Trex was delivered when they said it would be and the Lowe's Driver was Second to None concerning the way he proceeded to unload my delivery. Could Not have Gone any Better. I am unable to Comment on the product itself as it has not been installed as of yet..

Very easy to install!

Trex is a fabulous product. This is my second time building a deck utilizing it. It is so easy to install, I am a 66 years old woman and doing it myself. I removed a redwood deck, and will use the redwood for another project. But it was too much maintenance and I did not want to have to maintain a deck.

Love the color variation, and Lowes availability

Doesnt look like wood but still love the look

THis is an entry level decking board. It in no way looks like real wood and i didnt expect it to. But, if you are ordering it sight unseen you should be aware. However, it is a quality product with minimal maintenance required. i was tired of having to pressure wash and stain my deck year after year. when it was finally time to replace the deck boars i decided it was worht the extra spend to get trex. i have no regrets.
