More cons than pro.

As beautiful as this product is in the beginning, it's not worth it in the end. If you are worried about scratches and stains, yes, this product will indeed scratch and stain. Yes, there is maintenance required on this product to keep it looking nice but once you scratch it or it gets stained, you are stuck with it unless you replace it. Looks Great easy to work with.

Doing a couple small porches onto our patio with this and it looks so neat.

Probably the best deck boards available on the market. I refurbished an existing upper deck and built another directly beneath, both about 12'x24'. Both decks have two "double picture frame" layout (didn't want any butt joints). My upper deck has been down for about three years with no fading or failure issues. Great Product

I have a 1200 square foot deck that I am redoing in sections with the Trex Trancend Island Mist. Similar to other composite products I have to work with the temperature and direct sun light have an impact on the length and even the width. Once you know this you work around it and it works. Very happy with final look of this product. Our front porch is the same material and it is holding up perfectly.

Better than wood

I never really knew Trex was not rigid like wood so it was a bit interesting getting it home on the roof of my SUV but it is well worth it.

Feels Tough

Spiced Rum is a must!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample of Transcend Spiced Rum deck board and instantly fell in the love with the color. Its a rich tone and would look good for any deck! I was amazed at how solid it is and that it comes with a warranty against fading. No worries of splinters and environmentally safe b/c its 95% recycled material.

Heavy Duty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color and texture of the product. It looks and feels like wood. I scratched it with the scissors and it does scratch but the color is the same all the way through, so no big deal. It sheds water very well. Would love to replace the treated wood on my front porch with this. But one thing I would need to consider is the very heavy weight of the product and whether the existing joists under my porch would support it adequately.

Great Deck Board!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a sample of Trex - Transcend Spiced Rum Deck Board in the mail and i'm really happy i did...It's a really nice and strong Deck Board...we jumped on it...rubbed it into the ground to check wear and tear...rubbed mud on it and washed it off...it took a beating and held up beautifully...i do have to redo my deck and this is perfect...the color might not be my choice but the Board itself is perfect!!!

Durable deck board

They feel pretty good on your feet when you step on it not very hard like I thought it would be. The color doesn’t look cheap and either does the product. They come in several colors so the hard part is choosing which one to pick. They have matching railing you can get to match the deck also

Love the Look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my previous home, I had a huge wooden deck. My husband spent a great deal of time and money repairing, staining, and cleaning it. Trex deck boards are beautiful, realistic, and are made from 95% recycled materials. No staining or repairing required. I love the realistic graining which makes for a slip-resistant surface. The warranty is outstanding. The Spiced Rum color has a lovely variation in color which is very realistic.
