What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the composite decking for its rich, natural-looking color consistency, exceptional durability, and ease of installation. Many highlight the hidden fastener system as a major advantage, noting the material cuts and fastens easily while maintaining uniform appearance across boards. Reviewers emphasize the low-maintenance nature and long-term value, with most stating it outlasts traditional wood and justifies the initial investment. A few mention the surface becomes very hot in direct sunlight, and some note isolated pricing or delivery concerns, but these do not diminish the dominant positive sentiment.

Would Not RecommendI order just enough 12 footers and one came damaged right in the middle

The extra cost for Trex is worth it.
Would RecommendThis material is easy to work with for layout and cutting to size. The clips keep spacing equal and holds the material in place. The drawback to this material is having to flatten the ends of the boards prior to installing. Sitting to long on a rack causes (I believe) the ends to curve up. Apply heat to the ends, add weight until cooled down. Overall, Trex is easy to use and looks great.

Damaged boards.
1 damaged board was noticed upon loading. When I got home, I noticed 2 other boards deeper in the stack were also scratched and gouged. It wasn’t noticeable when the order was loaded, only after the bundle was unstrapped and boards were taken off the top.

Great look
Would RecommendThe boards are exactly as we expected. The color is consistent from board to board even though we purchased the boards from three stores. We haven't installed the boards yet, so I can't comment on their performance in weather.

Hello Jim, We can’t thank you enough for your review!
Some inconsistent grooves
Some of the boards seem to be reject’s or not consistent in terms of the grooves. There supposed to be narrow on one side to hold the clips and wider on the other so the clip slides into the next board. Well some of these boards have wide grooves on both sides which makes installation a little more challenging.

Would Not RecommendMoved to house with existing large deck that needed new top boards as the pt 1x6 's were in bad shape and planned to use the Trex grey boards to replace. Checking Trex website for info they claimed joists I had on 16" centers were fine for residential and 12" joist centers for commercial. Well it looked great until the first hot summer day and this is only in PA ,my deck looks like the ocean with all the waves in it and if any joists are not perfectly level and I mean" PERFECT" it only magnifies...
