Would RecommendThis is a good product and I like my new deck but there's one thing you have to be aware of. Every board is not the same width! The manufacturer does admit that the ends should be slightly trimmed to true up the edges. I'm ok with that. But I had a design that needed each board to end up perfectly aligned end to end and side by side. As I got going, I realized my boards were not lining up. I thought I didn't get some of the hidden fasteners all the way tight. Eventually after hours of scratching...

Would RecommendI ended up going with Trex deck boards when the price of lumber was about as expensive as composite. In the end, I'm glad I went with composite so as to save me from the constant staining and maintenance that the later years would require. I have a ton of pine trees over my deck and I find the pine needs don't stain the duckboards like they used to on regular wood deck boards.
