Ratings & Reviews for Trex Enhance Basics 1-in x 6-in x 16-ft Saddle Composite Deck Board Square/Scalloped

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its rich, natural appearance, exceptional durability, and minimal maintenance requirements. The Saddle color is frequently described as beautiful and fade-resistant, while the material is consistently noted as easy to cut, install, and work with—even for DIYers. Reviewers highlight its weather resistance, splinter-free performance, and 95% recycled content. Most customers report zero maintenance after extended use and would recommend it for future projects. A few note the boards measure 5.5 inches rather than standard 6-inch width, the surface becomes hot in direct sunlight, and the material is heavier than wood, though these are generally viewed as manageable trade-offs.

Would RecommendThe Trex product seems to be an excellent product, no complaints so far with that. Lowe’s customer service however, is lacking a bit. I get a text 2 days before my delivery date asking me if the delivery date is still good, and if someone will be home. It then says the night before they will send me a 4 hour delivery window. The night before, no delivery window is sent. The next day, no delivery window is sent. I wait around all morning , no contact from Lowe’s on when my delivery is coming. Now...

Boards received broken
Would RecommendThe Board is excellent but Lowes delivered many of the broken. They promised to replace them but they never did. So my advise to you if you order them, if they arrive broken, even a few, return the whole order because It is doubtful that they will replace the broken ones

Did not recieve order
Did not receive order. Driver stated forklift is broken and leaking fluid. Waited two weeks for delivery and took a day off work. Unbelievable. Why don't they carry spill absorber on the truck? Management stated they were unaware that forklift was damaged. wow

Items were out of stock for several weeks, today they decided to say that the Item was picked up by me, which is not true, I had to call and get a refund on the items that I have been waiting on for several weeks, I have complete sections of decking missing. Very Disappointed. The Product is very good, it is just the service that was provided by Lowe's. They need to fix their system
