Ratings & Reviews for Trex Enhance Basics 1-in x 6-in x 12-ft Saddle Grooved Composite Deck Board

I would use the hidden fasteners or spacers.

Used this product for a privacy fence. Maintenance free and looks fantastic. I would definitely uses again.

Nice look and great color

Color was exactly what we were looking for. All the boards were same size and length which is what you are looking for with composite

Affordable and high quality.

I was unable to find a better option for an affordable replacement for my deck. Still installing but exactly what I expected. Also a side note due to color choosing the deck does get quite hot in direct sun.

Just what I ordered.

Ordered these on line. They were ready when I got to the store, They helped load them on my truck.

Hot! But lovely

Needed an upgrade on the deck around my pool and coming into my house so i went with Trex. Beach Dune. I was not prepared for hot it is to walk on in the summer. Would I have bought it anyway yes because it looks fantastic and I can wear flipflops around the pool. It's clean looking and low maintenance. I need to find out if power washing it will do any harm though?? I also need to find out how to brace it right next to my pool where there is no room for a support beam.

Quality Trex

Although it doesn't seem like one, the enhance line appears to be their entrance composite. The wood grain texture mimics natural wood, yet the solid color gives the impression that the board has been painted. On the bottom of the board, there is ribbing that is typically not visible. The ribbing reduces the product's weight while maintaining its strength. In contrast to a solid board, you must consider a few design considerations to keep the ribbing covered. If you intend to stay in a place for...

Trex is the way to go

The composite material is well made, the only con is that they are prone to scratches, which cannot be sanded out like the wood deck boards.

Rich Man's Decking

Hopefully the longevity claim. The biggest issue is the price. Most of my customers are unable to afford the product and pressure treated material quality is degrading yearly. So my customers have to accept the poorer material quality because of the high cost of your material. The product is also strictly cosmetic and not structural. Therefore the framing must be perfectly flat and true to obtain a quality job which again is difficult with the wood products available today.

trex saddle 12 foot

like the product but wish they came in 10' sizes but

This is nice looking deck flooring.

The flooring looks good without having to use all the nails, and the Saddle color matches the cedar posts fairly well. We like that the floor will be more durable than regular lumber, which will make it last for years to come.

Title is great

This product is amazing. Can’t wait to see how it holds up in 10 yrs

Better than boards

no painting, no staining, and the rain cleans it. it's a great deal.

Nice looking deck Decent price compared to others!

Decking looks great! I like the fact that it cuts nicely and easy to install

High quality material that's great for a deck project. Recommended.

Good product for the price

Great product. Only dislikes so far is the amount of heat it holds and its easily scratched.

Overall a very good composite board for the price

I love the look of this item and it seems very durable. Easy to install… only issue I’ve seen so far is it is susceptible to hard water marks that are difficult to get rid of.
