What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its exceptional durability, low maintenance, and natural wood-like appearance. Reviewers consistently highlight the rich color and realistic grain texture, ease of cutting and installation, and compatibility with hidden fasteners for a clean aesthetic. Many appreciate the maintenance-free nature, resistance to splinters, and long-term value compared to traditional wood. The lightweight design and recycled material content resonate with buyers. A few report occasional warped boards or surface heat in direct sunlight, but most consider these minor concerns outweighed by the product's overall quality and longevity.

Would RecommendIt is my first time using TREX decking. The Lowe's personnel were very knowledgeable on cutting and installation. Also the needed hardware for Installation. I will be doing my other decks with Trex.

Looks good installed.
Would RecommendThe price for this is a great value. The only issue is the slight warp that most of them have. This is the second deck I've covered with this and I am completely satisfied with its appearance and durability.

Warp Easily Do Not Buy
Would Not RecommendIf your deck joists are spaced 24" apart, avoid using Trex Enhance Basics. These boards are too soft for that span — they will flex, warp, and may even crack within a year. Trex’s own installation guidelines specify that 24" spacing is only suitable for 2×6 boards, not the 1×6 Enhance Basics. This product is not designed to handle that load, and Trex will not cover damage under warranty in such cases. Save yourself the frustration and choose a more durable option or reduce your joist spacing.

Composite decking
Would RecommendDelivered timely and job well done by the delivery man. Product however ( composite decking) had 3 boards damaged badly on bottom of skid, impossible to see until I worked my way to the end days later. One was broken completely in half, other 2 had large chunks busted from them. Clearly impossible not to notice when being loaded onto pallet by stock associates. I gave 4 stars for the delivery dude and for Trex making an easy to use product with great looks. I ordered online, should've went in an...
