Would RecommendThe boards are exactly as we expected. The color is consistent from board to board even though we purchased the boards from three stores. We haven't installed the boards yet, so I can't comment on their performance in weather.

Stay away. Stay far away from Trek.
Would Not RecommendBought Trek decking two years ago (2022). Had terrible mold within two months. They had a terrible problem with mold issues for years. Google their name and see for yourself. I followed recommended cleaning procedures but it did not help. Called Trek customer service and they stated it was the environment and not their decking. Never again.

Some inconsistent grooves
Some of the boards seem to be reject’s or not consistent in terms of the grooves. There supposed to be narrow on one side to hold the clips and wider on the other so the clip slides into the next board. Well some of these boards have wide grooves on both sides which makes installation a little more challenging.

Would Not RecommendMoved to house with existing large deck that needed new top boards as the pt 1x6 's were in bad shape and planned to use the Trex grey boards to replace. Checking Trex website for info they claimed joists I had on 16" centers were fine for residential and 12" joist centers for commercial.
