Yes, there is maintenance required on this product to keep it looking nice but once you scratch it or it gets stained, you are stuck with it unless you replace it. Would RecommendI have a 1200 square foot deck that I am redoing in sections with the Trex Trancend Island Mist. Similar to other composite products I have to work with the temperature and direct sun light have an impact on the length and even the width. Once you know this you work around it and it works. Very happy with final look of this product. Our front porch is the same material and it is holding up perfectly.

Would RecommendI never really knew Trex was not rigid like wood so it was a bit interesting getting it home on the roof of my SUV but it is well worth it.
