What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the product for its realistic wood-like appearance, vibrant color options, and exceptional durability. Reviewers consistently highlight the stunning visual appeal, ease of cutting and installation with hidden fasteners, and elimination of annual maintenance like staining and sealing. Many emphasize confidence in long-term performance and resistance to warping and rot compared to traditional wood. Some note issues with heat retention and occasional warping at board ends, along with minor gaps from thermal expansion. Despite these drawbacks, most customers strongly recommend the product as a superior alternative to wood decking.

TREC Enhance Defective Batch 2023-2024
Would Not RecommendMany other people and I are having difficulties getting the TREX Corporation to honor its warranty regarding its composite deck boards. In 2023, I hired a reputable local deck-building company to replace my old pressure-treated lumber with TREX Enhance decking. Upon arrival, many of the boards were warped and had to be returned. Since 2023, my TREX boards have continually warped, suffered severe cupping, and turned soft in many spots. A simple Google search reveals that this is a known issue wit...

Very Flexible
Would RecommendI bought about 20 of these for a low profile deck. It was well supported with plenty of cross braces and noggins to reduce gaps between the supports under the deck. However, I still find that these composite planks have so much wobble and play. When I stand on the deck it still has a little bit of bounce. Also, I used composite deck screws but I found that when I screwed them into the boards over the cross braces, sometimes, the screw would take while to catch and times it would feel like it hit...

Very durable product
Would Not RecommendThe only problem I had was the order was spread over several months due to several reasons. First the store doesn’t carry a complete stock of items needed pertaining to this product, second the store employee associated with the product was not thorough of product-didn’t explain enough on product, did not explain the product fasteners (screws) on how many needed or explained that I could ordered big box of fasteners so wouldn’t need to buy more! and DID NOT follow through making sure that the pl...
