What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the product for its realistic wood-like appearance, vibrant color options, and exceptional durability. Reviewers consistently highlight the stunning visual appeal, ease of cutting and installation with hidden fasteners, and elimination of annual maintenance like staining and sealing. Many emphasize confidence in long-term performance and resistance to warping and rot compared to traditional wood. Some note issues with heat retention and occasional warping at board ends, along with minor gaps from thermal expansion. Despite these drawbacks, most customers strongly recommend the product as a superior alternative to wood decking.

Looks great, easy to install
Would RecommendThe enhance basics decking was very affordable and looks pretty professional on my deck. I especially like the darker greyish color over any of the other options and it was easy to install with the trex hidden fastener system. One thing to note is it gets pretty hot in the sun so I'd test out a few samples and leave them out in the sun to see for yourself. Looking forward to a maintenence free deck!

Boards cup
Would Not RecommendWe added a screen porch to our home and chose Trex for the flooring as we wanted durability and longevity. The product was easy to cut and install, but unfortunately it cups and hold water in the middle of the boards when we have rain that blows into the porch. We noticed slight cupping during the install and intentionally spaced the screws to help keep the boards flat. However, after less than three months they are even more cupped. Because the boards hold water and don't drain, we have to sw...
